Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

The End !?!?

There is an entire company named "The Pokemon Company." I don't think they're going to say, "Well, we just released the god Pokemon in our multi-million dollar franchise, I think it's time we close up shop!"

There's like five thousand "god" pokemon.
it's gonna end at five hundred thousand.
And ohmfug I see lulz.

What Time Zone?

isn't Ho Oh supposed to based off of Suzaku
and Rayquaza off of Seiryu

No.
Ho-oh is based off of Fenghuang, the chinese phoenix.
Rayquaza isn't based off of any mythological creature, as far as I know.

If they were going to do Pokemon based off of Suzaku and Seiryu, they'd include Genbu and Byako as well.

Watch the second movie in Japanese. The legendary birds and Lugia are explicitly called gods.

Hmm.
Well, I suppose that's understandable. Eastern cultures are more polytheistic than western ones, so I can understand why the birds and Lugia would be referred to as gods of Pokemon in Japanese but not in English.
Arceus, though, however you look at it, is the "main" god - he's referred to as the creator of all other Pokemon.

ARCUES IS NOT A GOD
he isnt the god pokemon, he is the alpha pokemon
that means the next gen could have an omega pokemon, the destroyer pokemon

It doesn't matter what rubbish word they put in as his "species".
He's the god Pokemon.
He was the first Pokemon, and he created all other Pokemon.
Sounds like a god to me.

lolmonotheists

Seriously. The Pokémon universe has a whole pantheon of gods. Arceus is just their version of Zeus or Odin. Deal with it.

Also we need more Pokémon Titans. Or Jotuns.

well theres obv guna be another generation as something must of created arcues.
maybe the next "god" pokemon will be a giant dolphin.:)
