The Espeon Baton Pass Magic Guard problem

I was watching battle videos on youtube and this one kept coming up. I don't understand it. Can someone clear this up for me?

Batton pass to the Espeon after the Pokemon has stat increased and Magic bounce protects those increases?

I don't know what it was. I only saw the videos and clicked on one that had a chart. I was reading the comments and everyone was saying Espeon with the Magic Guard ability is broken with baton pass.

I'll look more into it but I was hoping you all knew something about it.

The main reason is that it can come in and reflect things such as SR and status conditions back at the opposing Pokemon with its Ability (which is akin to a permanent Magic Coat attack on the Pokemon), then get in a free Sub/CM usually on the opposing switch to pass to a teammate.

Passing into Espeon pretty much shuts off about 3/4ths of the potential moves that could counter a baton pass chain.

It's not very effective in Doubles though which is how official competitive play is conducted. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
