Hi guys,

Other than the Steelix EX discussion, i would like combos and ideas for Politoed EX. Is Poliwrath (UFO) or Poliwrath (FRLG) a better choice? Please help me on this one! :smile:
Also, while you guys are at it what bout the new Ariados and Octillery? Both look really interesting and have low costing attacks.

UFO Wrath 100% or maybe 80% cos it has higher damage potential, but the old Wrath has confusion ability. Both Wraths have different weakness to Toed ex. Wrath from UFO weak to psy which is quite popular. Wrath from FRLG weak to lightning which is still rampant in Zappy ex. So ultimately its a matter of choice. So after all the crap i said, Wrath from UFO!

how bout 2 UFO, 2 FRLG poliwrath, 2 politoed ex and 2-4 surprise time machine?

use UFO version to fight off its weakness and if the opponent was crazy enough to attack and gain confusion, surprise to FRLG version to seal off its retreat

Poliwhirl FRLG is quite good to get extra energy. Use TV Reporter and discard a basic energy (especially water) and use Energy Stream to attach it to poliwhirl which also has a 10 damage bonus.

The FRLG + UF Poliwrath run well together (WITHOUT Politoed ex).

Politoed ex go for Slowbro and maybe one tech UF Poliwrath.
