Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

~The Offcial "OMG ITS OVERPLAYED" Topic~

Pokemon is over played. lol. J/K. but i think that here to much bs decks. I mean Camrupt Ex/Breloom(em)/Em Rhydon. that must be a joke. I kicked his ***** with Machamp. Whoa Im getting off topic butnothing really is overplayed

Dark draggy is a great card/deck, not overrated at all, but it's waaay too overplayed. Ppl are still hanging on to it even after Battle Frontier for some reson.
And what would be the reason not to? Battle Frontier? And why be so scared of a simple Stadium.... The very fact that Stadium card exists counters that argument.

You want a reason not to? Well, I think everyone being an individual and playing with different decks is very important. Why wouldn't someone want to be recognized for their achievements with a unique deck instead of a slightly modified archetype deck? Really, wpuld you rather be the cool guy that has A swampert or Shiftry deck, or a mindless drone with Dragtrode? Again, being unique is very important.

Unique isn't important

Who cares if play some weird deck in a tournament? I've been playing pokemon for a long time and I hardly ever build some deck that no one has ever done (except maybe starting Amphy). I'm never unique and I always win or place in the top three of every tournament I play in. It's about building a deck and playing skillfully with it. I'm going to regionals in a week and I expect to win with or place high with
DragTrode on my side.

No deck is wierd if it has your favorite Pokemon in it. I mean, what's the point of winning if you don't win with your favorites? It's just a shallow, meaningless victory. Of course it's about building a deck and playing skillfully with it, but you should do that with your favs. Sure, go ahead and play with what everyone plays, that's your right. But I'll play with my favorites, and win or lose, I'll feel like an individual, and feel beter about it:tongue:

well, i have a good reason people dont have there own decks. called follow the herd, the one person who has a deck that an standup against another deck, an watch the herd shift to the new deck, then you have a few brains who will use this logic "everyone uses taht deck, but this deck counters it, but people iwll be running this deck, so ill make a deck to counter the 4th generaion counter deck" and trust me, it works, blackmail owned at states, i have have lsot to pure rocklock, but meh, it was a good run. but yeah, thinking outside the box is the way to go.

It won the oklahoma 11-14 states...beat my draggy with this kid who got frickin' 28 heads in a row. I'm not kidding.

1. He didn't win Oklahoma States. He got SECOND.
2. He didn't beat you because of heads, he beat you because his deck was BETTER than YOURS.

Anyway, I have to agree that Dark Dragonite and Rocklock were overplayed decks. However, no real card can really be overplayed.
