The official all year around NFL Thread - Superbowl & Offseason

I wish they would move back to L.A.

I watched Bradford this season, and he just looks like he dont want to play. Ball snaps, he drops back as if the play was called dead, Ive never seen that kind of body language before.

At the moment they're the 5th seed and with the Falcons loss tonight, it appears they'll stay that way.

Think the 49ers will be overthrown by the Saints next week for the first round bye? Is it a possibility with the 49ers playing the Rams?

As for the Lions, they play either the Cowboys/Giants. I think they're both bad matchups for the Lions personally. The Lions won't be lasting long without much of a run game and a predictable young passing offense. Gotta give them credit though for making it this far. Who knows, maybe they'll be the Seahawks of 2012.

You do realise the lions beat both cowboys and giants right?
And honestly if the lions were predictable they would not have made the playoffs i mean seriously none of us here in MI thought they would do much better than last year

Uh, until confirmed, pretty much anything Rams-related is rumors at this point; besides, why go back to LA, weren't they kinda happy to leave in the first place? Personally, I'd give Spagunolo another shot, but yeah...you need someone to pin 2-14 on. And if they land Fisher, that is probably a plus as Fisher is a very solid and respectable coach.

I hope the Niners don't sign T.O...he overstayed his welcome the first time, we don't need him. An old, sometimes dynamic WR still won't change the fact the offense is lackluster and Smith is barely that good as a game manager.

Finally, I wish people would stfu about Brady beating Brees' newly acquired record, why the hell does everyone think Brees will be resting anyways and Brady won't? As the Saints play at the same time as the Niners, they can't just go and rest starters with a 2nd seed potentially on the line if the Niners somehow slips against the Rams. So yeah...not to mention Brady still needs 190 yards just starting out, and it'd have to be a horrifically bad day for Brees not to torch the Panthers...

The problem I got with the Rams in St Louis is the fact of how much a disadvantage it is geographically to where the 49ers, Seahawks, and Cardinals play.

Honestly I cant believe the Rams have more popularity in St Louis than they did in L.A. seeing as they are literally next door to the Chiefs. Its pretty much what drove the Rams out in the first place was being next to the Raiders.

Well the sole reason they moved there was for a new stadium.

years prior the Cardinals left out of St Louis.

Well, either way they may be moving to L.A. again... Not sure how I feel about that though honestly.

Money may be a huge part of why they're going back honestly... Not to mention, how they spent all that money on a wasted first round draft pick two seasons ago...

From a city to an entire state. How do you think that worked out for them? Probably doubled or even tripled there fan base.

And the fact that St. Louis is really a pretty lousy city, in the middle of no where....

Let's not go bashing cities now, St. Louis no worse than most other cities out there.

Anyways, I still think it more likely the Jaguars will be out in LA before the Rams coming back again, they aren't tied to any stadium agreements (dunno if the Rams are or not), and there's no stipulation the new owner has to keep them in Jacksonville, which is a tiny market. Though personally, I think the NFL should try finding a state that doesn't have a football team, California already has 3 anyways, why do they need 4 again? Better chance to open up new markets and fans instead of just splitting more up imo...

lets hope the chiefs knock off the broncos. The AFC West would be totally embarrased if we let the broncos represent us.

I dunno, the meltdown the Raiders have went on largely doesn't exactly make them any less embarrassing. Personally I think the Broncos would have more success in the playoffs if only due to Tebow Time, they might be able to even win their first playoff game at home before having to hit the road and getting crushed.

Personally, I think Tebow is overrated. I mean, he was good in college, be now... he's just, meh.
This is Why:

Eh, I'll admit the only reason I like Tebow is because of all the other haters out there, yet he pulls off all these improbable wins lol. And he's still doing better than that loser Orton was, so I mean he gets some credit imo, he's still essentially a rookie since he only had a mere 3 starts in garbage games last year after the Broncos were out of the playoff hunt, he can improve after all.

I love Tebow because of the kind of unique person he is. I met the guy, as I've pointed out hundreds of times before and he's an even better person off the field than he is on the field and his life story is just amazing and inspiring if you ever get a chance to listen to it. A student at my college, directed a movie during Tebow's years in college named "Everything in Between" and he came to give a speech at my college, discuss the movie and meet with the students.

Not to mention his faith coming into play. The way he expresses it without pressuring or disrespecting anyone to follow can be well respected. His genuinely kind personality to take part into it. The way he handles criticism coming from fans, the media, etc. is remarkable. The guy has a passion for the sport, puts everything into it but knows his priorities and right and wrong.

I just love what he stands for and brings to the sport altogether. He's an amazing person in general and the world needs more people like that.

And those mocking him for praying before a game should really grow up and be more considerate. I love how he's not afraid to express his faith. After all, the Bible does state not to be afraid to show and express your faith. So on that note, I can highly respect him for that because he's showing and expressing and not forcing it onto people to follow, or attempting for that goal. He's more likely praying for the safety of everyone playing in the game and for the opportunity to even be where he is today. Things to think about.

But obviously, I'm a Dolphins fan and a huge Tebow supporter/fan as well (especially since I'm also a University of Florida and Boise State fan as well.)

Matt Flynn just made a lot of money with his breakout performance. He is an unrestricted FA next year unless GB decides to franchise tag him. What a game that was! Too bad it was not shown where I live. 480 yards, 6 tds, and 1 int.

Will the Colts draft Luck or trade the pick for a king's ransom?
If I was SF fan, I would be slightly worry that St.Louis shredded the defense.

I was really hoping that the Colts would win so that they lose the worst draft pick. I personally don't feel like they were the worst overall team even without Manning. Look at teams like the Rams, Jaguars, and a lot of others for instance.

I dunno, those same Jaguars just beat them...Rams make a decent case for being the worse too though, but eh.

So let the speculation begin, will the Colts draft Luck, or trade the pick and go with other options? Hot prospect that could be a Manning successor or several top picks to rebuild the rest of the team, like the shoddy defense.

Colts won't be drafting Andrew Luck. They no longer have the first overall pick. Lost it to the Rams earlier today. The Rams have a worse conference record giving the tiebreaker to the Colts. Rams have the first overall pick, then the Colts have the next pick. I hated hearing all this "What will happen to Peyton Manning!?" drama. I knew they wouldn't finish last.
