Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

The Official Customs Playmat/dice/sleeves thread.

If I can get the money for a 3DS, could you take it and have them print a picture on it and send it to me?

Yeah I could do that for you. The image has to be a vector file format (AI, EPS, or CDR) without a background.

Or you could just come to Utah for regionals and get it done yourself ;-)

What is the most efficient way to find prerelease sleeves? i currently own Giratina and Garchomp ones but i want to get extras despite them being hard to find. if any1 can hook me up will playable condition extras or direct me to a trade thread or website that'd be great! : - )

I would really like to start drawing directly onto mats. Does anyone have any recommendations for coloring materials?

I heard sharpies can smear and fade.

I heard fabric paint is the best, but I really don't know very much about it. Can you get it in pen form to make thin and sharp lines?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Copic markers are most likely the best but they are pretty expensive, around $5 per marker. That is what our local artist uses when she does mats. You can find them in any art supply store.

I think it's time to make my own mat.

Been working on figuring out my top 6 Pokemon of all time. And will sketch a group shot of them with myself included soon. Then start working it into a mat. I believe it will be quality.

Breaking down 600+ Pokemon to 6 is quite the hassle though. Lol

custome playmats

hey i was woundering if there is anyone that can tell me a place or someone that make custome playmats

Im making a Donphan playmat with only 3 colors should i go ahead and use sharpies or something else

I've heard that paint is good, although I don't know what certain paint works with the mat (Fabric or Acrylic are the ones that come to mind but test them out first beforehand).

Funnily enough, I made a Hoenn Legendary based mat for myself ages ago to use in the Pokémon TCG but I never got around to getting it printed for use.
I've got the page saved and everything, just needed to get the money side of things sorted out and other things.

Anyway, does anybody want to see it? I'll happily share it with others to look at or for inspiration, ideas and such!

Yes, sure you can. These are all made in photoshop by the way.

This is the Hoenn one that I made for myself but I haven't got around to printing it yet.
Reason why there's a white box at the bottom is that I signed it with my name and I don't want a bunch of people claiming that they're me one way or another.

And there was another one that I left scrapped simply because I didn't like it and how it looked.
It had some pokemon aliases that I made into characters from the games I've played such as Kipper (Mudkip), Karlos (Shiny Murkow) and Warrior (Slyveon)

What do people think of using outer sleeves to protect expensive/rare sleeves? I find it makes them fairly bulky, but they still shuffle fairly well.
