Okay, so I'm trying to soft reset for a good IVed Heatran. (I have a Modest Sync)
I send out my Alakazam Lv 100. I use trick. Giving Heatran a Focus Sash. I switch to Gardy Lv 100.
Use Psychic, Crit. Hit, now Heatran has 1 Hp left. I use Hypnosis. Here's the fun part.
Here are Heatran's moves, along with the PP:
Scary Face / 10 PP
Lava Plume / 15 PP
Fire Spin / 15 PP
Iron Head / 15

So all together that's 55 turns of him attacking + how long he's asleep. Gardy has Traced his Flash Fire, so only Iron Head hurts Gardy. First I start using Dusk Balls. Around Turn 45 later I use Timer Balls. So after about 80 turns (Put him to sleep 10, 2-3 turns of asleep) He struggles and KOs himself. 40 Turns of Dusk balls, and 40 turns of Timer Balls. Timer Ball should catch it, with 1 Hp and asleep. After the batle, I look how many balls I have used, I didn't know I had another page of balls at that time, 1st thing there 1 Master Ball. I spent about 2 Hours trying to catch it.

Me: "Oh man, I hope Netgear doesn't crap ou-" (it was at this time that I realized that I got disconnected from the battle)
 
Beldums. I was thinking.. what's wrong with these things? I had it asleep at the lowest possible HP without it killing itself and 30 or so dusk balls and nothing... I thought.. what's the catch rate of these things? It's about as annoying as Uxie/Azelf/Mesprit/Giratina/Regigigas/Heatran...

As it turns out, it's the same catch rate. I found it A LOT faster to breed them, even in a swarm...
 
Trying to catch Aipom in the Emerald Safari zone. Seriously, I can blow like 10+ Safari Balls and they'll still escape >.>
 
I've only recently started this game (Diamond). I beat Fire Red and Emerald pretty straightforwardly by catching only Pokemon that I wanted to make permanent members of my team---which meant that at the end my Pokedex contained full information on only six Pokemon, their earlier evolution stages, and a few other random Pokemon---so for Diamond I've decided to get as much full Pokedex information as I can on my first go-through.

So early on I captured a Budew. Then one night when I didn't feel like going further into the story I decided to give the Budew my Exp. Share and quickly evolve it into Roselia by having one of my stronger Pokemon fight some wild Pokemon that the Budew would be too weak to defeat on its own. Well, you can see where this is going. I spent too long getting the Budew up to level 23 before I suspected that something was wrong, and then checked a guide to find that a Budew evolves into a Roselia only when it's sufficiently happy, and that gaining experience without actually fighting does nothing to make a Pokemon happy. Oh well.

I think I'll let myself "cheat" by looking up how Pokemon evolve from now on.

I spent about three hours trying to catch my Heatran. At one point I even yelled out, "OH MY GOSH, THIS IS RIDICULOUS!" My brother heard me and asked if he could try. He threw a Premier Ball at it...

... and caught it. :mad:

My brother's a lucksac. He also caught his Palkia with a Pokeball on the first turn of the battle.
 
Just caught two shinies in a row. Oh, woe is me. What a horrid bad happening. Poochyena and Ralts. *loves*

EDIT: And as if to tell me off for showing off, the power ran out immediately after I typed that. Go on. Laugh.

He'll never get any ever again. He had a chance, but no! :lol:

What gender was the ralts? Females are under low demand anyhow.

My Gible in daycare forgot outrage so I reset, that was annoying!

It was female. I got a Gible and Garchomp on the GTS earlier. Well, first of all it took me well over an hour to find a working hotspot. The Nintendo site is crap for that.

I traded an Eevee for the Gible and a Level 5 Jirachi for a Level 100 Garchomp. (I just had to abuse the cloning glitch for the Jirachi there. XD)

You realize we can tell you're lying right? because you cannot find wild Poochyena's in DP.

1. You are right about the "Wild Poochyena's in DP."
2. Maybe Emeralda was playing R/S/E/FR/LG, not DP, and did not realize the header of the thread.
3. My worst happening in DP probably would be getting lost in "The Safari Zone".......:frown:

Yeah, I was playing Sapphire, but I thought it was a good enough bad luck story to be told here. I was going to transfer them anyway, so it was bad luck on DP not to be able to get them there.

No need to assume the worst of people, Pablo.

like omg battle me staravia vs wild machoke @ place about 20 steps from snowpoint

battle sequence:

staravia used fly*staravia flies up away from screen

machoke use vital throw *shows graphic and deals 1 hit ko 2 my staravia

me *yells OMG stOOpid thing:frown::mad::frown:

happens 3 times 2 w/ vital throw and once with revenge and it hadn't taken any damage yet OMG

but still i can't help but :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::thumb:
 
I went to the Battle Tower and got a 20 trainer streak. I have to go, so I save and quit. I come back and it says, "The current save file has been corrupted. The previous save file will be loaded."
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
