how does this beat kingdra but u should really fit in Felicity's drawing to get fire energy in the discard

Well It's a cool deck, but that's all, cause the 120 HP of Charizard is just to less mate, you'll have mayor problems vs Kingdra and other spreads...

However, if I was to make such a deck, I would put a weavile in there for energy speed, with 4 special darkness, you can do 140 dmg and heatran will provide the lost fire energy and cause of it's body he will make the special darkness special fire :D

**See's Itachi's Black Fire comming out of a Charizards mouth**

-3-3 rapidash (not really needed..)
+1 uxie
+4 pluspower (char hits for 100....)
+1 fire energy
-3 fire enrg
+3 call NRG

To be honest I think Blaziken from Great Encounters or Galactic's Conquest would be great in this deck over Rapidash (SF), plus you can also reattach Fire energies from your Discard Pile with Blaziken's first attack and also be able to bench snipe for 80 with Flame Kick.

The ironic thing about this is I was just about to build this very similiar deck until I saw this post, though I still plan on building mine when it gets finished after Christmas so mine will be running Blaziken and Heatran X as the main beatsticks, maybe a Charizard (SF/Base) line as well...

Maybe a Sceptile (SF) tech would work nicely in your build, use Energy Trans to transfer Grass Energies onto Charizard thus making them Fire energies with Energy Burn. Maybe also run 3 Cherrim (SF)'s to help increase Charizards damage as well with Sunny Day since they boost on both Grass and Fire Pokemon as well.

Weavile wouldn't work!!! Because if Charizard is Dark, Heat Wave won't have an effect!!

Uhhh...... OHKO for Kingdra....

Plus its gonna take 4 turns just to use Charizard's Attack and that's way too slow...

The only way to make it fast is Poke Trainer J's Sceptile Idea.

And 3 Stark Mountain is too many.

If your going to do Stark, go with Typhlosion build:

4-2-4 Zard
2-1-2 Typhlosion
2-2 Claydol
4 Sableye

Sableye gives you setup time for Zard and allows for the early discarding of nrg for Typhlosion. Also, take otu the Blowers and go with 4 Bubble Coat!

The other option of course is to go with Electivire and use Energy Links. Electivire gives you the counter to the weakness and a bit faster setup since they are stage 1s. However, the Stark goes away for 4 energy Link!

GL with it!!

Fish

Electivire:

3-2-3 Zard
3-3-1 Electivire
2-2 Claydol
4 Sableye

THis is still poke heavy, but Sableye is needed for setup IMHO!!

My 2 cents worth.....
simular to ideas said but with different pokemon.

Pokémon 20

4-2-4 Charizard SF
2-2 Heatran Lv.X
2-2 Claydol
2 Rayquaza (NRG accelleration)

Trainers 25

3 Roseannes Research
4 Bebe's Search
1 luxury ball
2 felicity(help ray)
4 POV
2 night main.(5th charizard and more NRG)
3 Stark Mountain
3 switch(get heatran out of active positon)
3 Rare Candy

Energy 15
4 call(help set up)
Fire 11

If that deck runs Rayquaza then where's the Lightning energy for it? You can only attach Energies via Speed Gain onto Rayquaza only, you were probably thinking about getting Fire or Lightning Energies from the Discard Pile to attach onto Charizard with Speed Gain but it doesn't say you can though.

I like the idea of running Stark Mountain to switch around energies, but like I said a Pokemon in the Modified format with an Energy Trans Poke-Power like Sceptile (SF) would work great with Charizard. Typhlosion is probably the best bet for this kind of deck but you can only use his Poke-Power once per turn before you attack.

Well, its not explained, but Stark Mountain will let you move the Energy from Rayquaza to either hitter. You could even use Flash Fire to stockpile on Heatran X in case you have to use it as a backup hitter.
