Hi Ardoptres,

Thanks for the review. A third Honchkrow is not needed since he is a bench warmer in most cases. However the level up version makes the Murkrow flock much more versatile. It allows me to hit the bench and also to use the second attack to retrieve lost Murkrow. In most cases Murkrow will use the attacks and hench Honchkrows are more or less bench warmers most of the time. In rare cases one can also attack with the level up version.

with all your murkrows as easy one shot bait it seems like staying ahead on prizes would be very hard would it not?

Hi wolf52525,

Thanks for the review. To be honest we will have to see. The main idea is to attack with Murkrow turn two to control their hand and switch to a combined hand and status lockdown on turn three to five with Darkrai Lv.X and Murkrow. That hands the deck a chance to withstand counter offenses a little better. We will need to see whether the idea indeed works as intended. Let me know what you think about this idea.

The only probems I've seen with one Honchkrow deck is that if it get's sniped early, on the bench, then it will be hard to make a come back. I'm curious if Time Space Distortion will help out this deck at all.

these braket's are making it really hard to read, again.

but seems cool, problem with the crow, is low damage output

Hi Alazor,

Thanks for the review. The issue is indeed correct. However Honchkrow Lv.X would at least be much harder to knock out on the bench. That is the reason one needs to be evolved fast with a second one available upon request. Do not have Time-Space Distrortion available. Thus Night Maintenance needs to suffice for me.

Hi lolganium,

Thanks for the review. Lower damage is indeed and issue with pure crow decks. Hench the switch to a Darkrai Lv. X assistance line to be used in the middle and end of the match to dish out a little more and keep them asleep to be knocked out with a retrieved Murkrow. In case the other side makes a comeback and is unable to snipe the bench or Gust someone else out they would have tobe satisfied with an energyless Murkrow.

The only problem i see with the deck iis 14 energy ={ its quite a low amount in my opinoin, i would try to run 16. Also remind me when moonlight stadium comes out? lol

With most popular decks doing stupid damage T2, krows don't stand a chance in ****.

Seriously, I want to play krows properly but if it wasn't for it's resistance it would lose to almost everything.

If you get a lucky first turn roll, then by T2 you have DRE honchkrow TGM then you may have a chance. But stuff like Blissey/quicketune will just decimate.

Krows are too slow and which is it's major downfall that and it's health being so low just makes it unplayable in the current format.

Hi Kaworu,

There are some arguments in favor of your position. Still need to test whether it can make a comeback with Darkrai L.X combined with Murkrow to deliver the death stab using the attack of Honchkrow and its leveled up form. However the deck is less stable than some of the other speed decks around here. The fun aspect is that Tune is not among them anymore since DP3 and DP4 are out.
