my first t2 deck

pokemon
3 jirachi(DX)
4 eevee
3 espeon ex
2 umbreon ex
1 vaporeon(the best eeveelution to counter safeguard?)

trainers
4 mary's request
4 PETM
4 swoop!
4 pokemon reversal
4 energy removal 2
3 stevens/rocket's mission
2 super scoop up
2 surprised!
2 rocket's admin
2 retriever

energys
4 darkness
2 multi
2 cyclone
8 psychic

i've go through other topics related to espoen decks and i've made up this deck...
Rate PLEASE..... i really need it..

Use Flareon (Scizor Ex, Steelix ex, Meganium ex) instead of Vaporeon.
I also think that Umbreon ex is better than Espeon cause you can THKO Pidgeot without any chance of it retreating.

hi metagross...
thanks for your advise...
but many people think vaporeon is the best because its ability to attach extra energy to the pokemon...
but i might consider flareon too...

I think Umbreon ex is better than Espeon, but Espeon gets all the attention, so I'd go 3 Umbreon ex and 2 Espeon ex

Yeah, but how often are you going to evolve to Vaporeon just to attach that Extra Energy? Plus I think Flareon can get one from discard, which might be better.

hi pokemon211...
i will try reverse the twins line and how it will works...
hi metagross...
the extra evo for eevee is there to counter safeguards for incase so i might not use vaporeon always...
btw.. i thought flareon would only retrieve fire energy cards...?
hi wooper trainer..
can u suggest wat evolution card to include in? thanks anyway...
thanks to you guys for the statement...

Flareon is you best bet, even if it can only get fires, IMO. But Vaporeon would work as well.

Thanks Esperante... i apprieciate it...
so this deck need anymore fixes? i think this deck is good enough...
what do you guys think about this deck?
the only problem here is the vaporeon and flareon and the espeon and umbreon ex line...

well, vaporeon is definately a viable choice, as i expect the most popular safeguard to be ninetales, it really depeends if fire-weakness pokemon catch on a ton, imo.

here is my fix...

pokemon
4 jirachi(DX)
4 eevee
3 espeon ex
2 umbreon ex
1 vaporeon(the best eeveelution to counter safeguard?)

trainers
4 mary's request
3 wally's training
4 swoop!
4 pokemon reversal
4 energy removal 2
3 super scoop up
2 surprise! time machine
3 rocket's admin
2 retriever
3 stadiums

energys
4 darkness
3 dark metal
8 psychic

then you need to get rid of 1 card...

thanks Zach EX.. i like your list... but in my opinion PETM is better...
anyway wally is equally good too... i would take out a stadium and i will go for 2 magnetic storm...

GOD this deck looks familiar (even the name). But here is my advice in mine that i posted awhile back I play a 3-3 espeon and umbreon and a 4 jirachi. I use Dark-Metal energy and space center so incase you do run into a one of those stupid safeguard pokemon you can hit them with jirachi or cancel there bodies that is the best thing to do. dont waste you time playing vaporeon. Wallys and Surprise are also a waste...

Why are you even running swoop and jirachi? You don't need swoop and jirachi was only played to get an extra card and the swoop if needed. It's almost useless and only gets in the way. Good luck with the deck.

hi JokerBoi... lol... the i got it from the title The Dark Twins..
based on your advise... i will take out vaporeon and add in 1 more jirachi and take out two magnetic storm and replace it with space center...
space center don't need that many because the only safeguard in new format is only ninetales and shuckle(i think?)
but why run dark metal instead of dark? wally or PETM is the best way to draw out espeon or umbreon ex quicly without using eevee's energy evolution... and i don't know what cards to replace them IMO though..

hey Prime
this is a T2 deck.. so usually we need jirachi and maximized swoop! and PETM(it works better)so that it is able to use power and attack faster with espy or umbry ex in turn two... that's what a usual T2 deck does i think... thanks anyway

Jirachi for what? You don't need swoop. You get a net of one extra card for the lousy cost of 8 (4 jirachi/4 swoop). After that first turn, you swoop for eevee and attach and evolve. Well that's just lame. You could easily first turn attach energy, evolve, and with umbreon ex, attack. There is NO need for swoop in this deck. Jirach can serve as another attacker, but really, why?

Use common knowledge and not what the common t2 looks like.

instead of using jirachi, you can try to use...but i would prefer to take out jirachi and use wally traning or PETM..anyway,jirachi or cleff can be a 'meat wall' while you charge up your pokemon or when you are facing strong pokemon

hi Prime...
based on your advise.. swoop and jirachi is useless..
but IMO swoop is there for incase is needed to get eevee... maybe i should take out two or more and replace it with other cards...like wally?
but i don't think i'm dropping jirachi... jirachi is my safeguard attacker and there to draw more cards needed too..
without jirachi.. i'm only having a total of 4 pokemon in play...
maybe i should change this deck to T1?
can you suggest me to add in better cards?

How about keeping in the swoop and trying a 2/2 line of magcargo over 4 jirachi. That way, you can swoop if you start with slugma, and it can add some search into the needed t2 decks. Good luck with the deck.
