Why would they kick out DP1? They want to keep it all to DP sets now, but why get rid of the core set of the DP series. When they rotated out the E series, they didn't rotate out RS, did they? So why here and now?

I agree with that 100%, think about It, Holon Phantoms will last for 3 seasons already. Dp can do that too, plus without this set, The whole Diamond and Pearl series will be torn apart such as LucarioLvX. What kind of tournament just leaves you with a LucarioLvX with no Lucario? I really do not think that DP1 will be kicked out this year, another Dusknoir has not come out yet.

I don't think that DP1 will be kicked out either, because I think it would disrupt gameplay. I was stating my previous thought because others are suspicious that it will be kicked out.
 
Yeah, it's true and it'll be awesome. Seeing that DRE, Scramble and other techs will get rotated out, I can see a new sexy spoof towards the Pokemon TCG game play.

Localizers could mistranslate it, in which case Erratas appear. If you haven't noticed from Magmortar LV.X, Electrode, Exeggutor, etc. PUI is very much an advocate of making sure the cards are played in the rest of the world the same way they are played in Japan.

Didn't anyone see this post? And again, DRE and boost were printed in POP 5, so if they don't get rid of POP 5, there's still DRE.
 
Bebe's is definitely the new celio's. Yes you have to put a card back, but remember celio's couldn't take pokemon ex, which used to be used a lot.

Lucario is a POP reprint :biggrin: But yeah... leaving us without DP1 changes many things...
 
It is logical that the next rotation will be DP-on. There is a very small chance PK will stay, but I think that they don't want to have the Trainer/Supporter/Stadium rule longer than they have to. They'd rather have all the OP rules standardized.
 
Sorry, newbie question here, but at least on topic for this old thread (one month old)

I heard in another thread there was an annoucement but I can't find any official annoucement on Google or here. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough?

My other question is 2007-2008 format allowed POP Series 4-6, Dark Star Promos 037-030 and DP01 and higher. What happens to all those in the next format, since they are listed in the official 2007-2008 rules document BELOW Diamond & Pearl, I'm guessing they stay for the next format along with D&P??
