The World's in California! Day one.

After the long day of the grinders at World's, we're just waiting on some pics and info regarding todays first day of competition for the main event. As it comes, we'll upload and display them. Good luck to all the participants today. If you have any info, please share.

The first is our good friend Hagrid23 posting updates from the back room.

The second (and official) one is the PCI Worlds 2009 page, which will be updated throughout both days with standings.

The third is a Twitter hashtag so that we can learn what's going on the ground floor at Worlds.

I have some info regarding yesterday's grinder - apparently there were 5 Canadian juniors who made it into Worlds today, making a total of 9 Canadian Juniors.

3 Canadian Juniors made it into the final dance tomorrow. 2 Masters as well. Seniors got shut out. Too bad. Good luck to all in the top cut, regardless of their national origin.

I dunno, but he was in one of the featured matches ON STAGE against Chris Fulop. Best game all day.

<-- is a senior who just got knocked out of top 32. Probably write a report tommorow but anyway... all the japanese people are playing luxray-something. And from what I've seen and heard Flygon w/ techs NO WEAVILE!!1! is doing the best atm, two people grinded in undefeated and 7-1 in masters, and went (I belive) undefeated in Seniors today.
