I'd like to add that for another helpful YGO site, edit: sorry, no advertising links. P_A. usually has great articles, and they cover the Shonen Jumps as well. Though recently, they seem to have turned into some weird Upperdeck promotional site as well...I mean, what the heck is the WoW TCG and this Huntik junk doing up there? Talk about selling out...

Thanks, Regis, that's a little helpful. :3

And, yeah... Unfortunately, it seems to be happening to everything now. Sites, bands, even plain people selling themselves out for money and the benefit of corporate gain is nothing new, but it's sad all the same.

Wha? When did UDE buy metagame? asdf....

Oh well, guess I'll have to find another site for YGO in the future...RIP Metagame? At least some of the older articles are worth looking at, it covers what, the last few years or so.

There are decks that can beat tele-dad but they get smashed by anything else.

Not always true, I played Little City at 2 UDE days and ended up Top 8 and Top 16. Below is what I played against.

Day 1
Round 1: TeleDad, Win (Game 3)
Round 2: TeleDad, Win (Game 3)
Round 3: Plants, Loss (Game 3)
Round 4: Removal Deck, Win, (Game 3)
Round 5: LS Win, (2-0)
Round 6: LS Win (2-0)
Top 8: Gadgets, Loss (0-2)

Day 2
Round 1: LS Win (2-0)
Round 2: LS, Loss (0-2)
Round 3: Tele Dad, Loss (0-2)
Round 4: TeleDad, Win (2-1)
Round 5: TeleDad, Win (2-1)
Round 6: Zombie, Win (2-1)
Ended up 12th

Record
Teledad 4-1
Lightsworn: 3-1
Plants: 0-1
Gadgets: 0-1
Zombie: 1-0

Its all about the player. Contray to popular belief TeleDad does not play itself. You can tell who knows how to play it and who doesn;t. Cheap Antimeta piolted by a good player can beat Teledad.

It was Tytannial Control. I open with Trap Dustshoot and own him game 1. I decide to not over extend game 2 and lose to a Mark of the Rose. I felt really stupid after to becuase he hadn't played a Mark of the Rose yet and he probably ran 2-3 compared to the 0-1 Heavy Storm I was fearing. I guess he could have sided in Mobius to help with Royal Oppression but I just made a bad call. Game 3 he tops Monster Reborn FTW. It was weird though becuase it sided Dimensional Fissure.
