Third Professor Retest

This upcoming Tuesday, I will be retaking the Professor test for the third time. Not to sound like a pessimist, but what happens if I mess up the third time? Can I retake it again? If so, how long is the waiting period?

After you fail it the 1st time, you get 2 Weeks before you can take it again. After you fail it a 2nd time, you have to wait 1 Month before you can take it again. Any more times after that, you have to wait 1 Month before you can take it. So if you fail it your 3rd time, you will have to wait 1 Month before you can take it again.

Which this is really a good thing. You really have be very knowledgable and very experienced to be a Pokemon Professor. Also make sure you have good reason to wanting to become a Pokemon Professor. If you are a league leader or a tournament organizer then you really should push to become one. If you volenteer in helping in Pokemon events then you should work to be a professor. However if you are just playing in Pokemon Organized Play events and not responcible for helping out in events then reconsider in taking this test.

What about if I want my non-professor friends to actually believe the stuff I tell them in our casual play when they don't believe the ridiculous rulings XD Like Rare Candy. They still don't believe it.

wanting to become a professor so that 'others will take you seriously' is not a good reason to become one. professors need to be able to further the game. people who want to use the professor system just to 'show others up' is definately not what pui needs in professors.

You misunderstand. I want to help them, but they won't listen. At least 2 of them won't. The other 8 are fine. I really just like helping out, all joking aside.

Yes but simply as a player you can do that alone. Being a professor means you are willing to commit to expanding Pokemon Organized Play and improve the Pokemon Trading Card Game. The title of a Professor is influential however you as a player need to work together with your friends to find the correct solutions to play the game. That is why we have Card Rulings section on the offical Pokemon Organized Play website and a complete and comprehensive compendium which has been endorsed by Pokemon USA, Inc.

Well congrats, but now that you are a professor make sure you try to do everything you can as a professor. Don't worry. You'd be surprised what crazy adventures you might end up having with a crazy latino, a person who says "Too Bad" to everyone, and hundreds of other wearing lab coats. (just to name a few)
