Wednesday...
Well, it's that time once again, I went to bed REALLY early, and got up REALLY early, so I was able to prepare for the trip pretty well. Dad ran some errands real quick, then we waited for Ben and Josh(Two people riding with us..). So, they got their soon, and we were off. We got into Virginia, picking up Tommy's Back and Shadow Zangoose, and then were off to Origins! After a good long drive, we got there, everyone got registered and what not..and it was on to the Hotel for a good sleep...
Thursday...
We all get up and get ready for the upcoming day...and get breakfast at the hotel. We soon arrive at the convention, helping carrying in some things as well. There was a modified, but I decided to hang with Tommy's Back since he wasn't playing, and we just kinda relaxed and looked around Next door, and talked to some people at the gaming area as well...That's how the whole day went really...
Friday...
Well, another morning, we do the same thing as yesterday, and arrive back at the convention once more. There's another modified going on, but I decided I'd play only two rounds then just drop and hang out again, relaxing for the up coming day. I once again hanged with Tommy's back, and got to talk to some other people as well...and before I knew it, the day was over.
SATURDAY! *Dun Dun Dun*
The day we've all been waiting for...Saturday, Day of Nationals...
Well, I filled my decklist out the night before, deciding to play LBS yet again. I got in line, and it wasn't long until I got my deck checked, and just hanged with DragonMaster8, and some other folks, waiting for the big Nats to start.
This is the list I used...

Round 1: Christian O. (Mynx)
Well, this match was interesting to say the least, it'd been a while since I played against it. So I swoop to a Jirachi, and try to Wishing Star...Well...the darn Giraferig is down, so I end up throwing down Space Center, and wish away. I soon get my set up, while he seems to be having trouble, since he can't get a BF out. I'm able to pretty much sweep the match with Mew and some other things...

Round 2: Eddie C. (Muk/Weezing)
I really didn't expect to see a Muk deck to day, and as soon as I saw the Grimer, I was like "Oh boy!". Well, He gets a fast Muk out, meanwhile, I'm building up a Jirachi swarm to hopefully stop this thing...he takes out an early Squirtle, and then one Jirachi...and then I'm able to Rachi Swarm him, and soon get a normal set up, and win the game from there...

Lunch break!!
So, I chill out and talk to some people from NC and what not, and get a good lunch as well...and then before I know it, round three begins.
Round 3: Aaron..(Rock-Lock)
This was a close game, and it's always my luck that I have, I always lose to it...
Well, I'm able to get down to two prizes, but my pokemon are taking sever damage, and in the end, he pulls it out with an ATM rock...GG

Round 4: Kyle S. (Pooka, Exeggutor d/Raichu d)
I got a fast set up, and put a fast steelix up to the board, and was able to ko something with it...however, it soon found it's way to the discard, so I sent in Mew and KO'ed the eggs, and got up to two prizes a little afterward..
However...I was split bombed and both my Lugia and Mew ended up getting KO'ed...>.<, for game.

Round 5: Sharif A. (I think...)(Medicham ex/Espeon ex)
In this game, I was able to finish it up rather quickly. You see, I ko'ed I believe a Jirachi early on, with Mew(Or Meditite, can't remember). He used wishing star with another Jirachi, but couldn't get heads for the life of him, so I took advantage, and built up a Steelix, doing a hundred to a cham and Espeon on his bench. With the Jirachi still asleep, I switched to a Mew, and pure powered the Medi and Espeon for four prizes, and put ten on the remaining Eevee, and KO'ed the espeon next turn for game...

Round 6: Aaron C. (Machamp)
This game was tough, I couldn't set up for the life of me, and he was coming at me with Machamps...but I some how managed to pull something off, getting rid of one of the champs with Mew, and ridding of another with Blastoise, and getting lucky that he didn't land the heads he needed. I was able to come back, and win the game, sweating bullets though...

Round 7: Mike R. (Hariyama/Gengar)
This game wasn't too hard, I pulled a fast set up, he kept poisoning things, but he sent up a roselia and pulled up a wartortle, poisoning it. I switched to a Lugia, evo'ed to Blastoise ex, and blasted the flower away, and then used mew the rest of the game to win.

Round 8: Will H. (Flariados)
This game was rather easy for me, I got INCREDIBLY lucky, I have to admit that, flipping all heads for sleep check...and I used Mew pretty much the whole game to KO things, and win..

Round 9: Luke R. (Mynx)
I was nervous about this game, majorly. I was able to pull off the win between Mew, and some other things, but it wasn't easy...But I was able to use Steelix to pull the game out. *Whew*

So, after finding out that I made 26th place, I'm majorly happy, and almost couldn't believe it to be honest. So me and the rest of the group head back to the hotel, and rest up for the day ahead...
Sunday...Top 32.
We get there very early, me still kinda tired, and nervous as well...but I get to my seat, and begin...
Round 1: Ryah R.(Mirror)
Game 1: I don't remember all the details, I just know that I was able to pull off a quick win thanks to getting rid of some key cards like Pidgeot, and she didn't have the energy she needed...
Game 2: This game was pretty scary, we both went at it, but I got rid of BOTH of her pidgeots, as much of a pain as that was, and then went on to win the game from there, using her Latias* that she benched to do it...

Round 2: Ian..(Mirror match..again)
Game 1: I'm able to pull off another quick Steelix and take out his bird quickly, and then set up pretty fast, and pull the game pretty quickly...
Game 2: Not able to recover after he blasted my bird with his steelix, I scoop a little afterward, going directly to game three...
Game 3: We both take eachothers bird out, and just pound on one another, drawing it to one prize each. He ends up having the Holon Castform, and takes the last prize with Steelix ex...

So..I ended up 14th, and I got my packs, and got to sort of relax once again, playing in a pick up tournament and winning, and talking to people a little bit as well, and get OVERLY excited after Bobby ends up winning Nats.
So, the day draws to a close, and we all head back to the hotel, not knowing that the Malec's were there too, so needless today, it was a pretty cool night, we did a draft, and what not...
Monday hits, and we make the trek back home, it seemed to go by pretty quickly too, so I was glad...but It was a fun week nonetheless, one I doubt I'll forget.
