Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Thoughts on Blazechomp

I think it is BDIF for CC's or at least the best "early" CC play(similar to what Blazeray was last year)
It has speed and w/ the right list can beat LuxChomp in a quasi-mirror match.
This deck also has a solid matchup vs. D-Chomp.
Also w/ DGX tech it handles Gengar Prime/Vileplume decks nicely. Fairly consistent as well, w/ Blaziken attacking for one energy.
Lastly it also tends to be a bit more flexible of a list than LuxChomp.

i play vilegar and battl a lot of people with blazechomp. i have only lost once but all other times came to 1-2 prizes away from losing.

It was the first sp deck i played and i still love it. I thought about running it with staraptor fb lvl x instead of uxie x, that way you can tech in a bunch of supporters but only use 1 of them. so 1 twins 1 black belt 1 seeker 1 lookers and a vs seeker or two then using staraptor fb's power you can get at them whenever you need. that is just a concept

right now i run BlazeDialgaChomp

it is basically Dialgachomp only instead of 4 call and stadiums i run 2 fire energy 2 blaziken fb and one blaziken fb lvl x. i really like it because it is manipulative and can set up in many ways. the only reason i could see trouble is the boost that gyarados gets from triumphant. if gyarados becomes more popular which i think it will then the slots for blaziken may be better used for cards that boost consistency

BlazeChomp is fast, and is a little flexible. While it is probably not the best deck out there, Blaziken and Garchomp can hit hard and fast, and thus can rush the opponent to a loss.

I acutally was experimenting with a BlazeChomp deck a while ago, and I posted a similar thread. You can check it out if you want:
