Since States and what not are arriving, I think its important for everyone to know what they will be facing. So ssking out of generousity, I'm asking for anyone to contribute to the Teir Decks.
I'm willing to list them but I need help to organize them around.

Is anyone willing to help?

Tier 1
Zekrom/Eelectrik
Thunderdome
CMT
ReshiPlosion

Tier 2
6 corners
Durant
ChandyPlume
MewBox
ZPST
The Truth
CaKE

Tier 3
A lot of stuff

Tier 1- Magneels, Durant, Zekeels, and 6 corners

Tier 2- ZPST, Mew variant, and Chandelure

Tier 3- Magnezone yanmega, VVV, and everything else

Sorry if I forgot a deck, but this is what I predict at states.

Tier 1
Zekrom/Eelektrik variants
Thunderdome
CMT
Durant
Tier 2
ZPST
Big Basics
ReshiPhlosion
The Truth
Mew variants
Tier 3
Every other meta deck...

Yeah, might have forgotten a deck or two.

Judging by my testing results and ECC results, Durant is definitely not Tier 1. (It's Tier 1.5 or Tier 2.)

A lot of people want Durant to be Tier 1 because it's cheap to build, but with so much Zekrom running around, Durant's playability is severely hindered.

Definitely agree with this.

Oh Durant is tier 1, alright. Zekrom is a threat but that is why you play Prism energy and Rotom. Not to mention Crushing Hammers.

my tier list would like-
Tier 1
Zek/Eel
MagneEel
CMT

Tier 1.5
Durant
Electrode

Tier 2
TyRam
Chandelure
Mewbox
Zebstrika
Truth
ZPST

based mainly on ECC.

ECC? What is that? Sorry for not knowing. Also Thanks guys for the input, keep it coming. once I get on a computer I'll edit the top post.

What's the point of 1.5? It's either tier 1 or it's not.

You can't solely base Durant's potential on the ECC results. There are just so many factors that could come into play to stop it from getting far in the tournament. It very well could have just been underplayed.

Not to mention 3 or so did indeed cut.

And quite a few (at least per what I've heard) were 5-3.

Do you guys think a Durant will win first in states? If not it shouldn't be teir1

Could it? Yes. Will it? I'm not a prophet, and there are too many variables. Any given local meta will make or break Durant, and that is very, very hard to predict right now. Durant is probably one of the more meta-dependent decks out there.

Tier 1
zek/eels
CMT
decks to counter this

Tier 2
Chandy
mag/eels
durant

Tier 3
everything else

More specifically on "decks to counter this", truth variants that are correctly geared for that state's meta, and I put mag/eels at tier 2 because it can't even manage to beat Chandy consistently, so why should it be tier 1?

Because it has great matchups against everything else in the format, just because a deck has one or two bad matchups doesn't mean it can't be tier 1. Luxchomp had some unfavorable matchups but it was still the BDIF.

Luxchomp with a 1 1 dialga had NO bad matchups. You might get the occasional bad hand/setup, but that deck when piloted by the right dude/dudette had no reason to ever lose. And to be honest I just don't see lost zoning 3 energy to do equivalent damage that zekrom does when he only discards (thus recycling) as a good route to take.

Actually, even with Dialga, I still think it had a bad match-up against Vilegar, but it depends who is playing the deck.
