Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Too many decks!!!

This new season which just started has a wide variety of decks where to choose from, and there is no deck which can be described as the best (as for example last season GG). Some decks of this season are:

Kingdra
AMU
Magnezone
Luxray
Dusknoir
Turncruel
Regigas (i tried it and it works pretty well)
Many T2 decks (scizor, houndoom etc)

these are just some decks which have potential. So what decks do you think will be mostly played in this first part of the season?

you can never have too many decks. :thumb:

The more the better.. It will make people prepare more for larger tournaments and its letting creative people be.. well.. creative

Which is the POINT of the game, Creativity and FUN!:thumb:

i liked when GG was the only deck

It was never the only deck no matter how you look at it.

Cities had GG, DWD and Magmortar along with random rogues
States/Regionals had GG, Magmortar and rogues
Spring BRs/Nationals/Worlds had GG, Empoleon, and the smaller decks (Magleaf, Lutions, Banbliss, Scizor)

T2 Bibarel > All. :p

This game never fails to excite me. I can't wait to see all the new decks at tournaments. The main reason I prefer this game over any other card game is the fact that most of the decks are balanced out and you don't have only one deck being played.

Bibarel is AMAZING! I have been testing with it quite a bit. Beaver FTW!:thumb:

Yes i think that the T2 decks are going to play an important role in this season, because speed has become very important and to get the upper hand early in the game can be decisive.

It's a little irritating that you could consider those decks Tier 1 (excluding Froslass) when they haven't even been legal for any Championship tournaments...
Heh, no kidding. It reminds me of those people that go on and on about how awesome a video game is going to be, but the thing is the game isn't out yet. :/

Well this is Pokemon. We can proxy decks before they are released. Then the hype can begin. The masses can hype a card or deck, but when a player you know is notorious for breaking formats hypes a card... you might want to copy him. Most do.

You might wanna add Froslass to that list!

I love this format. It is immensely better than last year's.

Oh, I think we already have a number of threads on this very topic...
