So, will it ever be competitive, probably not, but it is simple, trying to bring back a little Torterra. I start with virzion and Double draw, his 2nd attack is useful also. But the point is to set up Torterra fast and start hitting, Shaymin EX for late game if needed. But pretty simple idea, or is grass decks not viable yet?

Pokemon
3 x Virizion NVI
3 x Turtwig
1 x Grotle
3 x Torterra
1 x Shaymin EX

Trainer/Supporter/Stadium
4 x Heavy Ball
4 x Professor Juniper
4 x N
4 x Cheren
4 x Rare Candy
4 x Pokemon Catcher
1 x Super Rod
4 x Colress Machine
3 x Switch
1 x Computer Search - ACESPEC

Energy
4 x Double Colorless Energy - Special
4 x Plasma Energy - Special
8 x Grass Energy - Basic

This list does seem like the best way of making Torterra viable in a fun/league situation. It's unlikely that it will ever hold its own in a larger metagame, but it works for itself.

I'm a little confused as to why the Super Rod is haphazardly in there as opposed to, say, a fourth Switch or a second Shaymin EX.

Well it was put in there to confuse you lol. I just am so used to teching in super rod in decks that is all. But a 4th switch will probably be better

I have played a lot of reshiboar and used Shaymin Ex as a tech for Keldeo/Blastoise when it first came out. I would recommend one/two energy switch. It allows you to hold off using Shaymin as a counter to the very end and get both energies out on one turn.

two other quick comments, skyla may add more speed in place of cheren to specifically pick out the trainers you need. Scramble switch might be another viable option to move energy from a damaged attacker to a healed bench attacker. i do like the list!!!!

Part 3! :) I really like the idea and thinking about playing next week. I don't like the heavy ball idea, cause it only lets you get Grotle/Torterra. I think a better line for the ball, would be 2 Level Ball, 3 Ultra Ball, 2 Heavy Ball (- 1Super Rod) for even trade. Again, not sure what cards you have available, but I would replace all the Cheren's with Skyla. I usually do not run a stage 1, I know it is preference, but I would drop a Grotle and 1 rare candy for 2 Colress, to take your total up to 14 draw supporters. I would say by running ultra ball, I would drop either a juniper/skyla/catcher (my choice would be juniper) for a super rod so you can use grass energy for discard and have an avenue of getting it back.
