Tournament to benefit victims of Katrina - High Point, NC - 9/24/05 (Final Results)

Thanks to everyone who came and supported this tournament!!! We raised $75 plus a generous donation by Jake B. I will be submitting the money through my work who matches so a total of $255 will go to the Red Cross!!! Special thanks to DJ's for hosting the tournament and Elizabeth J for recommending the idea!!! Everyone walked away with not only a booster pack but also a door prize. See results and pictures below. Jeff: Glad you had a good tourney, but the coolness factor would have been upped by a power of Nth if the TN crew could have made it over. You can thank the TN Supreme Court and the Court of Criminal Appeals on that 1. A brief due for cert to the Supremes and oralarguments set on a case 1st of the week kept me from driving. (Oh yeah, and that 2 straight weeks of court too!) Hope to see ya soon!

It was an awesome tourney! Oh yeah - Mike won- but that wasn't the reason it was awesome. The reason it was SOOOO awesome was team TRIAD! Yes- all of them made it! The attitudes there are un-real- or should I say the lack of attitude that makes them awesome. Some places you see have the Killer attitude (win at ALL costs and trash talk...)and this was a fun tourney cause that element wasn't there...
