The scenario is Toxicroak G attacking with Deep Poision, with Skuntank G in the bench to poison and a stadium in place , but the defending pokemon has an Unown G attached. The attack's damage to the defending pokemon is 20 , and the attack's effect is + 40 if poisoned .. so while being poisoned indeed ( by a power, not by an attack, thus G does not protect ), in this case Unown G would protect the pokemon from the effect and the attack's final result would be 20 damage only , and 30 by turn end because of 10+ for poison .... correct ?
A verification would be appreciated. Thx in advance.
