Transformed Ditto = Basic or Unevolved Pokemon?

Is the basic Pokemon that's placed on the Transformed Ditto still considered a basic Pokemon or unevolved Pokemon (like Legends)? I think it's still a basic but I just want verification for rulings like Skyarrow Bridge and Safeguard Sigilyph.
