Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Tropical Beach legal for UK cities?

I would assume so. The UK is part of the Europe zone, right? And legal cards there are English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.

[edit] I know that sounds kinda snarky, but it's not meant as so - I honestly don't know if the UK is under a different umbrella from the rest of Europe. I assume it's not.

thats so bogus if europe can use all but japanese why cant the rest of the world? unfair imo beach would be so cheap if this was possible here

But they pay for all of their tournaments.
Take the money you save by not paying for premiere events and buy a couple of Beaches.

thats one good thing if you play in europe( we still have to pay 20-30€ to get one...), BUT you get
player rewards
blister (not all european countries have blister)
you get special boxes like yanmega prime
you get better prizes

Whether it's fair or not is up for debate; however, there is a reason for it. In the UK, language is a bit (i.e., a lot) more diverse than it is in the United States, and you're just a short flight away from several different languages. In the United States, your overwhelmingly dominant language is English, and you're very unlikely to encounter anything but English, with maybe a side of Spanish. That's the reason why the zones are structured as they are.

I don't feel like making a fairness argument will get us anywhere - Europe may have best 2/3 swiss and free range on card languages, while we have all those neat things Ace mentioned. Regardless, it doesn't really seem that great to have the entire United States market locked to just a single language, whereas the rest of the non-Japanese world can use a mix of languages. It actually skews the metagame here, IMO.

The number one reason for this is that, despite Spanish/French being rare in daily use, they are commonly taught languages here, so at any given tournament, someone probably knows at least one of them really well (possibly fluently). Even if they don't, then you usually have at least half a dozen human versions of Pokepedia.net .

Is it really that much of a stretch to consider English, Spanish, and French all usable for the entirety of North America? If that's the case, then is it that much of a stretch to consider them usable for Masters only?

Cheer up fellow Americans! Once we implement the North American Union and start spending Ameros (< real thing;Google, research, then be scared!) , they will probably allow french and spanish Tropical beaches in tournaments! All we need to give up is our National sovereignty!
