Tropical Beach Price Questions

So in August, I picked up 2 2011 Staff beaches for $230 total. Just skimming through other sites, and I see them going for nearly $200 EACH. Why the sudden increase in price??? And why did the 2011 STAFF jump more than the others?

Well its supply and demand, and a card is worth whatever somebody is willing to pay.

They supply is steadily decreasing while the demand stays the same and/or slightly increases. More and more of the Tropical Beach's are getting stuck in decks.
