ever sense jeremy jones mentioned at a prerelease that he had the hardest time taking out a turtwig Gl ive been trying to come up with a deck that uses this awesome card. the biggest problem ive been having is filling out the blank space. heres the list.

POKEMON 20
4 TurtwigGl
2-2 Claydol
2-1-2 Sceptile
3 Unown G
2-2 Cherrim

T,S,S 28
3 bebes
3 roseannes
1 luxury ball
3 warp point
2 Aarons
3 snowpoint
4 pokedrawer+
4 plauspower
3 candy
2 nrg gain

ENERGY 12
3 call
2 rainbow
7 grass

all you do is bring out a turtwig and just keep giga draining and living forever. sceptile power up turtwig, cherrim is for the snowpoint compensation. other than that im not sure. hope for some help.

you should put in a 1-1 or 2-2 shaymin (land form) to give him even more hp because turtwig gl hp90 +20(snowpoint) +40 (shaymin) =150hp BEAST that just keeps healing himself :)

I figure people are going to try and run this so I would be careful cause I'm the guy throwing in Infernape 4 with Flints, energy and by T2 I can donk grass types for a hundred (perfect world setting of course but...)

I would run

2 Turtwig GL 17
2 Mamoswine GL to combat fire
1-1 Claydol
2-1-2 Sceptile
2-2 Cherrim
2 Unk G

4 Cyrus' 31
2 Volkner's
2 Flint's
3 Bebe
3 Roseanne
2 Aaron's
3 Energain
3 Poketurns
3 Candies
1 Lux Ball
2 Snowpoint
1 BTS
2 Warp Point

1 Call 12
1 Upper
2 SP energy
3 Water
5 Grass

My theory is with Volkner's and Cyrus' my decks usually run really fast and I have a tendency to never have enough cards to Cosmic power (besides good players usually know when to Pwrspray). Beside I personally hate Claydol but figure most people like it and will run it so I gave a 1-1. I don't ever have a need for plus power or drawer but if you really want it then that is up to you. Hopefully I counted the cards right. Poketurns are a life saver with SP's. I would never run less than 3. See what you think of the list.

Good call on the Shaymin, Mamoswine 42. That is true.

to the first poster, tryed shaymin, baad idea too much HP. with that much HP you never get to use turtwigs body and if you do by the time you can its to late your DEAD. to the second poster ive been worried about fire types sense making the deck and you right i should play some water but i want some thing with less retreat. to third poster ive plaed a bunch of games with it and found that once snowpoint is out, its a lot easier for my oppenent to hit me for 50 and not activate my body.

i don't think sceptile is needed. an energy gain, drop, flint's is what u really need, and not even that. u could just flint's boost when your loosing, and that's as good. actually, i think that alakazam yon (ya, i used japanese, i went there) lv.x should be pretty good.

I'm not sure if you knew this or not but tutwig is, in fact, a SP pokemon. You don't need sceptile for anything.

I suggest you take it out, fit in cyrus/energy gain/poketurn, throw in a bronzong SP and use the "bronzong back an energy from my active turtwig to my benched one, poketurn my active, promote my benched turtwig, attach energy gain and an energy from my hand, attack" strategy

other than that just use your attack with cherrim/PP to beef you up and put the shaymin back in cause if they don't activate your body you can just bronzong/poketurn it

i get the feeling your forgeting the whole only 5 slots on the bench thing. the brongzong/alakazam4 X combo takes 2 spaces and the shaymin X takes another space. thats three down, now for claydol, and then there was ONE. whiched you have to use for another turtwigGl so the zong/kazam4 works. meaning theres no more room for cherrims. sceptile isnt a must have on the bench but i like the mentallity behind it. drop Wig then nrg gain, and attach and presto youve got yourself a working turtwig. the biggest concern i have is filling up to much bench space, when the deck fully sets up my bench looks like this- claydol, sceptile, cherrim, cherrim, and an extra turtwigGl.
