Typhlosion Prime and Exp. Share

If Tyhlosion Prime uses Flare Destroy to knock out an opponents pokemon with one basic energy card on it then what happens to the energy on the opponents pokemon that was knocked out if your opponent had a benched pokemon that had exp. share attached? Does the basic energy go to the pokemon that had exp share attached or to the discard?

All attack effects are resolved before a Pokemon is KO'd.

So, you do the attack, do the damage, discard the energy cards, and THEN do the KO. At that point, any energy still attached could be moved via EXP.Share.
