Tyranitar ex vs Dustox ex

If i were to use Tyranitars Electormark attack on Dustox ex, will dustox safeguard pokebody prevent the counter being placed on it?

Safeguard prevents all effects, including damage, from the attacks of Pokémon ex, so, you can't place a Shock-wave marker with Electromark. Of course, Safeguard would prevent Tyranitar ex ∂ from KO'ing it with the Shock-wave attack, even if it had a Shock-wave marker on it.
