Hi, Is the crawley event on the 20th? the thread says it is but the link says 26th, not sure which one it is.

Also how long do these events normally last?

How long an event lasts is down to attendance and also what each organiser is offering. For Crawley I hire the hall all day so there is plenty of time for travellers to arrive, deck checks, a food break, pin the tail on the Marill. The "swiss" part of the event should be finished between 3pm and 4pm.


swiss refers to the initial part of the tournament where all players compete each round. At the end of swiss the top players are entered into a single elimination match play final. The number of swiss rounds and the size of the single elimination final is determined by attendance on the day.

We are pleased to kick the BR Season off with a weekend of Gamers Guild events on the 19th at Normandy (Surrey) and the 20th at Rainham (Kent).

We'll be adding to the BR prize package to make sure everyone goes away with at least a booster pack from the current modified format :D

And there will be other Pokemon Goodies given out at whim :D

Be there or be a foursided object with 90 degree corners and sides of equal length

You need to ask Yeovil.

I sent out the original solicitation to everyone. As I was having some grief with my email at the time I ended up sending out the solicitation multiple times.

I then sent out a reminder to everyone.

Not everyone replied to either the original solicitation or the reminder :( There are still some promos unallocated so if Yeovil did want an event during the first three weeks of October it is still a possibility. However no response means no event.

Yeovil's league is currently inactive as there have been no league reports since the Water season. I checked the witch engine forum and nothing pokemon apparently happening.

Has Yeovil gone the way of Hull?

Leicester too. :(

Sigh.. ask them .. chase them .. Ian has already made it clear that all the UK TO's have had ample time to apply for a BR and they have had numerous reminders too!

Chase the TO at Phoenix Games not the UK's OP Co-Ordinator..

Not doubled. 14 events completed last time. [del]19[/del] 18 scheduled at the moment, I still have hopes for another three. But there is only the first three weeks of October left for organisers to pick now. Organisers have to give a couple of weeks notice of an event if they expect premiere status.
