Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

UK league seasons

The US end was cited, well who in the US is to blame for us having zero prereleases?
Who hasn't sent us league materials?
Ukpokemonpro has been courageous enough to voice concerns.
We are all annoyed and the situation isn't getting better, it's been years and yet nothing has improved.
To be fair, TPFG ran prereleases well as well as Nationals events.
DNA promised much but failed to deliver - no offense Venomex, that's just the way it was. And it looked like a dig even if it wasn't supposed to be one.

Just could people do what they are paid to do or have accepted responsibility for? We deserve better as paying customers. Transparency and honesty is better than excuses. We're talking about cards from the US, get them here please - this is the UK and yet it's being made out like we're awaiting humanitarian aid in Haiti!

I've done this a couple of times using the mail-blaster but the emails aren't getting through. Last attempt was a couple of days ago and the mass mailer failed again. So I'm now assembling the list manually from the website - but this is a much slower process. Its very easy to miss someone off the mailshot :(

Yeah, mail blaster was always temperamental at best hence why we had to do the same in the end and as you say, very easy to miss people that way which then cause further problems :frown:

I was thinking that it can be hard to find out information on tournaments etc. for UK players and it's a shame that we couldn't have just one website that provided this. For Battle Roads some of them got posted up here (thanks for that) but neither Leeds or Sheffield were on here - the official Pokemon website just doesn't seem to work well (at least it doesn't for me!). It's quite long winded to try to find out what is on via their find events bit and that doesn't always seem to work properly. If the information was better publicised/easier to find I just think that tournaments might get a better turnout. As for trying to create an account and log in to the Pokemon website - I've been trying to do this for about 4 weeks now with various emails back and forth to their help desk and still no joy - is this something you could help with Ian?

I wasn't really thinking back to past days (on the old Go Pokemon website I could log in no trouble!) - on the plus side though we do have more tournaments a bit closer now though.

Yes liz I can help you create an account.

There is one website: www.pokemon.com elsewhere in Europe an alternative website can work as there is not the issue of a shared mother tongue. Elsewhere there is much more chance that players will use the alternative local language site. Here in the UK that seems unlikely.

The tournament locator is a problem for everyone and gets a lot of negative comment from players and organisers all over the world including the USA. It deserves it too :( because if it just worked then there would be no need for band-aids of posting information to unofficial forums and websites. Unfortunately such unofficial band-aid information can easily cause more trouble that it solves when an event changes. A not uncommon occurrence. Leeds for example cancelled prior to the event taking place.

FWIW I've found that the event locator is most useful when you are not logged in. That way you don't see all the events that are in the past.
