UL magmortar-interesting card?

magmortar is a interesting card. it's first attack makes you get rid of energies. so does the second one. sure, you could use heatran but he's so slow. delcatty is much faster and it is also a stage 1, making it unnececary to use rare candies. that's just 4 more spaces for BTS, claydol, or other things. i don't have a list, as this is just an idea. basicly the strategy would be get mag and delcatty out and just pwn. the only problem is that it takes too many energies. mabye there's a way around that?

This is a fairly good strategy that I have tried and that has seen a bit of play around here. i recommend one magmortar SW at least until it rotates, at least if you want to use Typhlosion Prime. If you're not backing it up with T Prime at all, don't bother going mono fire at all, instead use it as a tech since it's so splashable.
