Typical Aerodactyl and Gligar cards do have Resistance to its own type. However, that's because Aerodactyl's Rock/Flying while Gligar is Ground/Flying. Both Rock and Ground are {F} in the TCG. Flying-types get {F} Resistance in the TCG.

Oh. See, I haven't gotten one of those in...forever. But, anyway, that makes it way too overpowered, and nothing is really made to tank in the TCG except some Chanseys.
