PRGD Blend Energy x 2

The strategy of the deck is to build up a support with umbreon and deoxys and plow through the opponents team with kyurem, using colress machines and thunderus for energy accel. Glaceon also helps for support to retreat easier should i be in a tight spot. The lugia is there for a possible surprise 3 prize swing with scramble switch.
Basically the best possible game for me with this deck would be a couple umbreon, a glaceon, a deoxys or 2 on the bench, and a kyurem wreaking havoc. Feels simple enough in theory but i'm always grateful to hear some opinions. I feel umbreon has a lot of deck potential and i want to use it as best as i can. It being one of my fave pokemon is just a bonus for me haha.

I've been fooling around with Umbreon-based decks for the last couple weeks, and here are some of my thoughts:

*My first advice would be to ditch the Glaceons and play Float Stone instead; Glaceon gives -2 retreat, but Float Stone gives free retreat without giving up 1 (or 2) prizes in the process.

*By Kyurem-EX, you mean a regular Plasma Kyurem, right? None of the EX forms get support from Umbreon.

*For sheer damage, Snorlax is probably better than Kyurem. Since you're loading up your bench with Umbreons anyway, you'll already be pushing close to 90-120 damage per turn anyway before even accounting for extra benched Pokemon or Deoxys boosts. Oh, and it can use that attack two turns in a row. I'd definitely consider Snorlax the better option if you insist on using Umbreon.

*I daresay, you might also want to include a Dark Claw just to give Umbreon something to do if he's stuck active. Darkness Fang can hit for 100 with that and a Deoxys on the bench.

I did mean just the normal kyurem. the ex part was a typo on my end. dont' make decklists at 1 in teh morning, lesson learned ^ ^:

I"m also happy to see i'm not the only one that is messing around with umbreon ideas. just too cool of a card not to make some thing with in my opinion. I couldn't really decide between glaceon and float stone, float stone is nice and easy to use though glaceon gives the retreat to multiple pokemon and if need be has an ok attack effect. though i do suppose the opponent could just switch out of the sleep...

And for me nothing is set in stone, half these cards i don't even own yet so i'm just speculating ideas for now. but i did actually consider snorlax as well. my scramble switch could work just as well with that as with the lugia ex. the kyurem i was considering for its spear attack to spread some damage to the bench and get potential multiple ko's.

I did also figure umbreon getting stuck active which is why i had the blend energy for dark type just in case, though i'm sure there are better options. The dark claw isn't a bad idea either. i was also considering using a dark deck with plasma absol and darkrai for free retreats. umbreon really has a lot of deck options. i'm just not sure what to go with or what cards are easiest to obtain. So many options... but i'm thankful for you suggestions and advice ^^

My suggestions are-

-1 Eevee
-2 Glaceon
-1 Hypnotoxic

+Keldeo x 1 (or 2)
+Float Stone x 3 (or 2)

You have to have a way to get out of being catcher stalled early and late game- so thats my suggestion on the matter.

I'm definitely going to be updating the list. thanks a ton for the suggestions, as youre absolutely right, i never did consider getting catchered early on before i could be set up and get completely ruined that way.

I have used the keldeo stone combo before and it can be awesome. especially if youre able to heal off any damage to him to keep him around. only thing i've seen so far that can really one shot keldeo are leafeon if enough energy are out, and black kyurem cuz its a monster.

And when i think about it, keldeo could aslo serve as bait as well. i'm sure the opponent would rather try to use resources getting rid of my free switcher rather than focus on my buffer umbreons so that could be a plus as well.
