Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Updated: Uk Nationals

venomex - could you confirm please that preregistration does not need to be repeated for Nationals? Will food be pre-arranged as before, or will players need to make arrangements for lunch? Also, is there a limit to the number of guests players can have with them (there was for Thorpe Park). Thanks Chris.

Hey Mr K!

Ok:

1) Food - Unfortunately free food will not be availible. However there are concession stands (Burgers/chips/etc) on site so you should not need to bring any food.

2) No - If you emailed to pre register already your name is down on the list.

3) There is no limit to guests (within reason). There will be an area for "parents" and some demo areas for younger players/new players to learn the game. Also some other "bits" to keep people amused which we have not announced yet

Look forward to seeing you all there!!

Will we receive some sort of Confirmation email upon pre registration for nats?

Yes confirmations will start going out next week. This will include a PDF file will all the information you need as well as a Deck list to fill in before the day!

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

As an addition to this:

Please note the Street Legal date for next set will be May 20th.

This means this will NOT be legal for Nationals.

Brilliant. Thanks for giving us notice.

Now I can actually plan for Nats without reading spoilers and ordering Japanese cards

Just a note on the street date for the next set. It is not unheard of for the release date to change at short notice. Usually it is pushed back. The distributors I use are not showing anything yet for the street date.

For anyone who wants to make T4 at nationals I'd advise them to have backup plans in place just in case the set is street legal prior to the date of UK nationals.

The information on Release date is from PUI directly - therefore this should not change.

However we will monitor the situation and updated accordingly.

Thanks

I have sent my preregistration email; do we normally get some kind of acknowledgement of the recipt of it?
Never played Nationals before. :)

hmmmm weird... anywho, it's my mum's bday on 16 may!! HEHEHEHE!! But she likes pokémon sooo not too bad

I have mine, but I emailed like three times asking where it was, so they might just have got fed up with me and sent it to shut me up.

Have the confirmations of preregistering been emailed out yet?

Thanks

Confirmations have gone out. Also emails to the uknationals email now auto-respond with the full information on the event.

Please note: You still need to register on the day for the event - If players have not confirmed their attendance by Reg Close @ 9:45am they will receive a first round loss.

When you arrive at the venue, please register at the main desk with a completed deck list - You will not be registered without this.

Thanks

Erm why is it an SPT decklist? lol.

Donezator

It's an SPT decklist because they were the last set of Premier Events to happen, I suspect you can now get a Regional Decklist at the go-pokemon site - The Nationals list will not be up until after US Regionals..
