Yes But you're faster than Gengar :)

How can u be faster than a turn 1 gastly pitch dark?

Either you go 1st, meaning no trainers can be played or you go 2nd. All the Gengar player has to do is pitch dark all the way until their bench is fully set. Then, break the lock and go to town. UR DBL DONK'D doesnt hit long enough to take out a full bench. I'd say Gengar is this decks worst nightmare, or 2nd worst.

Ditto, Gengar would only need 4 turns to fully setup (2 Gengars, fully charged) to streamroll the deck after breaking the lock.

Slow Deck has beaten Gengar in events ... I remember one of the state winners reports where the guy was playing Gengar, and even got the T1 lock, but SD came back and won. Still IMHO that was because the player didn't really know how much UR Donked could do once it got to play trainers. Had he set up more he probably could have avoided the loss by the sound of things.

Also, I've heard of versions of UR Donked having trouble against SP decks that use a lot of psychic resistant stuff, & not just Dialga. Darkrai G for instance .. you are doing 40 per hit once you are done with the bat drops and you have to hit 3 times to KO. They can just Poketurn after two hits...

I think this is the only way to beat a gengar deck (unless they start with a non gastly start). They break the lock too early and you tough out a close match. I have done that once. Prizes went done to 1-1. Other than that, in my experience, if the gengar player starts gastly and understands the type of deck he/she is facing, it is game over turn 1. You never get to go off until gengar has 2-3 gengars in play, along with their Claydol and/or NidoQueen.

Agreed, if gengar knows what is about to happen... Pitch Dark until full set up with back ups etc. Gengar that doesn't know is in for a fight.

Yes, the Chatot could be another problem, but it isn't as bad you think, (same for looker). When you deck your self, or get into prizes, you often might have a extra quick or dusk ball in hand, thus the first Chatot or even a looker, you ussually have one resource to find the Uxie. But as all the search resources are gone, the deck is completely vunerable to a Looker or Chatot drop.

The New List:
Only two cards are needed from the last 2 sets. Expert Belt obviously, and Cyrus Initiative.
Toss TS-2 and Bucks/Looker.

Pokemon
4 : Uxie, LA-43
4 : Unown R, LA-77
2 : Crobat G PT-47
1 : Unown G, (for Crobat to give counter to Machamp)
2 : Unown Q, MD-49 (for non uxie / crobat & unown R if you start with it.)
1 : Mesprite (Power Lock, could be a Spiritomb, Mime, Shuppet)

TRAINERS:
Trainers:
2 : Night Maintenance, MT-113
4 : Pokedex Handy910, DP-111
4 : Victory Medal, Promo-BtlRd (exchange for 3 Pokemon Rescue & 1 more Great ball if you don't have them)
4 : Poke Drawer +, SF-89
4 : Super Scoop Up, DP-115
4 : Poke-Turn
4 : Quick Ball, MD-86
4 : Dusk Ball, MD-80
1 : Poke Ball, MD-85

4 : PlusPower, DP-109
1 : Miasma Valley
1 : EX Belt
Supporters: 1
1 : Cyrus Initiative (It really is nasty)

ENERGY: 2
1 : Psychic
1 : Cyclone Energy, SF-94

2 Card Options
Mesprite/Miama (or galactic)
Spiritomb/Miasma
Shuppet/Miasma
Mime/Miasma
Mime / Mime Jr (don't run Miasma or drop a draw card to lose an ounce of consistency)

Again, you can only fit one "bench" pokemon. Cyrus Inititive is really sick in this deck. I saw that Austino called it to Shuppet Donk article.
