Us Nationals Schedule question

I heard from a buddy that this is what us nats was suppose to be this year:
Friday: all 9 rounds played
Saturday: all top cut played to top 2
Sunday; top 2 played

Is this true because ive been all over pokemon.com and i cant find anything but the old schedule up. I want clarification so whne i go to nats next week i dont come into a surprize from last year. I liked the old system and i hope this isent true!

Please if u know the truth post it here to clear up the iddue i had. Thanks
 
It's not yet been confirmed what the plan for Swiss is, but it's known that all cut down to Top 2 will be played on Saturday.
 
All that has been announced is that Sunday is reserved for Finals, meaning all of Top Cut should be played Saturday, up to Top 2. What that means for Swiss hasn't been announced yet.

Will there be a stream for the TCG/VGC ? If europeans can stream their nationals US can do it too i guess.
 
I'm fairly convinced they are splitting up all the finals in order to stream of them officially this year. I guess we'll have to find out and see for sure next weekend.
 
I dunno if A caused B or B caused A, but they also wouldn't be able to do the LCCP without the finals being arranged this way due to number of judges.
