Am I reading this right - the Regional Championships will only accept 128 entrants per age division, and that they will be chosen randomly from all of the people who show up? I don't know how many people they expect at each one of these events, so I don't know if the entrance cap is going to be a serious problem, but this really discourages any traveling.

Well that just bites my hand.
It is coming to TN, but to Nashville of all places.
I ahve to come up with money for Nats and not that ends up there!
Where not Memphis!

EDIT: NVM
It is not necessary to win a Regional Championship Event to attend the National Championships,
so even if you haven't participated in a tournament this season you're welcome to play!

is the VGS National Championships the same time as the TCG National Championships? Do we have to choose which one to participate in?

Wow its coming to Nashville. To bad I don't play the games. I wonder where it'll be held? Maybe I should go out and buy Platinum and train a team to participate with.

Edit: Well of coarse it would be at the ***lord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.

Not exactly the list of qualifying locations I was expecting. Doesn't sound like PUI got a lot of their first choices.

I'm not sure what the point of regionals is unless you live in those towns. I'm not traveling for a chance to be picked. We'll see you at Nationals!

So wait?! if your the first person at a regionals, and the attendance goes over, you might not be able to participate? it should be first come first serve!

Too bad you can't play the TCG and Video Games at the same time.
I think it's great there is more than 2 countries this year.

And I am pretty sure there is going to a Battle Roads in Dallas that same day.
( I would know I go to A-Kon every year in Dallas)

So if you register, you get a shiny Milotic, but if you don't get in, would you still get the Milotic? It's a funny idea as...you could register, not get in, but still get a shiny pkmn. But is a shiny pkmn worth it for registering?
