Anything that comes close to whining or attacking is going to be whisked away to a "Nats Sour Grapes" thread.

You all are entitled to your opinions, but please do it there for that kind of stuff.

This is more of a "Happy" thread.

One thing I think we see from this--sitting was a smart play.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

YES!
Bobby gets his trip, DOES IT!

Yep---and by the margin of his total stats gain from States.
And we thought those 8 points wouldn't matter.

Indeed.

Example: James Flint- Once #1 in N.A in early spring was 1971 going into Nats made top32 at 5-3 lost his match and the aftermath is a 1928 so he doesn't get a trip. Whereas 1971 would've made it beforehand.

Well this experience makes us more aware of if you should sit out or not for next years nationals....

Yes!
Steven got a trip, so he will be reppin' SAtown.
Nice job to Andy for getting the trip and making top 8 (I think) with MetaNite of all decks (I think)

AND everybody else too.

One thing to keep in mind, there may still be some shifting of points as bad POP IDs are fixed, duplicate accounts are merged, etc. These are, by no means, the final ratings. I would count on seeing those some time next week, after we've had time to analyze the Nats results.

Now back to waiting at the airport for my 5 hour (and counting) delayed flight to actually leave so that I can get home from Nats.

Regarding Rankings
17. Rob D (me) rankings peeked at 1994 before the top 4 matches, then the two donks I lost 44 points. All the 4th place folks end the rankings with double donks.

 Wow, that is horrible. Hope you get out soon. I hate when that happens. I had an 8 hour delay to Origins last year. It wasnt fun. I know the feeling. :frown:

Wow, if it is going to take another week to become final that does not leave much time to get travel done. Time is already ticking. Not just for travel but making other arrangements. I thought we would be hearing from travel group any day now.

Hey Mike sorry to hear about your flight, I've been in that situation, NOT fun Worlds '04, Orlando).

Mike on the ratings, if I manage to sneak in, notarzing papers here is a very lengthy proccess, so i I manage to win one, I'd love to get the forms that need to be notarized by email so I can sort everythng out quicker, should I contact you by email about this? or Dave? to what POP email?

31st in Ohio. Woot for me. I knew I wasn't going to make it very far in the season, but it's not bad to a first OP season rank. Here's to a better tournament year next season.
