Utah State Championships- March 19th, 2011

If you come at the beginning of registration, I'm sure lots of people would be happy to help you out before the tournament starts.
 
yeah?, that'd be great I know Revan said he'd try and teach me how to play if we both got there early enough and had some time to spare...

I'm more than a little excited, States is so close! I should probably go get some sleep, but yeah, for some reason I'm still up! Hope to see you all there tomorrow!
 
I went 1-4 then I had to leave due to some family issues at home, not bad for my first time playing and my first tourney eh? lol
I had a lot of fun meeting everyone and would like to thank everyone for helping a new player and I'd also like to thank all of my opponents for having patience with me... : D
 
States was crazy fun, and we had such a huge crowd, it really was awesome! I ended up going 6-1 in swiss, winning in Top 16 and losing in Top 8 to Igor's crazy Palkia/Lucario deck. Still, I had a great day and did quite well!

Now to get ready for Regionals :D
 
States was intense and very long. Ended up going 5-2 in Swiss, made top 16 played against my first loss in Swiss. It was intense but pulled out with a win. Good game though. Then lost in top 8 to Andrew Murray, down to time made one mistake that caused me not to be able to take it to sudden death. Intense game! Then after that gathered up all the fellow Idaho players and went home xD
