4 Rare Candy

Energies-17
7 Grass
3 Rainbow
2 Boost
2 Holon GL
3 React

Strategy: Beatdown with Green Blast while trancing the energies around with the help of the Poke-Power Chlorophyll.
Roselia: For Healing since you can trance the React around.
Magcargo DX: Searching.

Problem: Very very slow start and has problems dealing with Shiftry ex and Crystal Beach.

Should I include Mawile as Starter? Then what cards that I can take out for it?
Any Ideas or Suggestions??

Umm...wait...Chorophyll? Sceptile has this from POP4? Drop magcargo line for two Mawile. No use in running just one line of them. BTW what is the main strategy of this deck? Who fights? Venus or Sceptile? Give me the whole description please. I need more details before I can make any more suggestions.

Sorry for making things unclear. The poke-body chlorophyll belongs to Venusaur. Sceptile POP4 is just the reprint of the R/S Sceptile that has the poke-power Energy Trans.
Venusaur is the main attacker while Sceptile provides support and Sceptile can be the attacker too.
The main strategy of this whole thing is you attach more energies so that Green Blast can do more damage.
Sceptile POP4 would be able to shift all the energies around since Venusaur's poke-body turns all the energies that provides colorless to grass.
The Magcargo DX line was quite important because at some times this deck needs a searcher especially you need it to set up everything during the starting of the game. I will think about it. I think 2 Mawile is not enough.
20 energies?Too many IMO.17 energies is enough.

Anymore suggestions?

first off when you say pop 4 sceptile is a reprint of r/s, is it an exact? or in other words i would be able to play an old sceptile from the r/s set.

for your trainers you should remove the adventurers and at least 1 transcecver. with the lack of farmer you will be discarding things you need in a very tight list such as this. another problem is that your deck lacks the draw power to fully use magcargo,(cant afford to wait a turn). to fix that remove all of your rainbow energy and GLs for another react and two holons electrode or castform. with your energy space add in a treeko and a sceptile from emerald, it does the exact same thing as a GL but works on everyone with a grass energy on them. to make things easier just remove all of your holon trainers for three great ball i know it doesnt give the same amount as mentor but you need room for 4 fieldworkers, combos extremely well with copy cat in this format.

-3 transceiver
-2 adventurer
-2 mentor
-3 rainbow
-2 GLs

+1 treecko
+1 sceptile EM
+4 fieldworker
+3 great ball
+1react
+2 holons electrode or castform

if you insist on using mentor you could remove all the greatball and one celio for 2 transceivers and 2 mentor.

Wow. Wish I knew he was exactly like the old one. I'd have been using him. Lol oh well. Yeah then in which case the above improvements I'd agree with. Cept 20 nrg...little too much. Now if only they'd reprint pokemon center! :thumb:

Thanks for your fix celeni. I will test it out and see how it goes.
However the Sceptile EM idea i don't really like it. You will need to spend an extra bench space for it.

Thanks anyway and BTW there's no space for Blissey ex. LOL.

Anymore suggestions? What about Mawile? Is Mawile necessary for this deck?

emerald sceptile makes your mynx and flaridos match ups auto wins by just including him within your list.

My friend played this exact idea (with blissey ex insteed of cargo)....it was terrible. Really slow and couldn't hit for alot of damage. Drop rainbow for holon's electrode.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say drop Venusaur completly. Why? You can use Sunflora!

Sunflora is a Stage one and has a nice first attack.

Now what will we do with this extra space? Meganium ex!

Here are the fixes:
-Venusaur line
+ 3-2-3 Meganium ex
-Magcargo
-Roselia
- 1 Sceptile ex
+1 secptile POP4
-All energy
+ 10 grass
+1 Cyclone/Warp energy
+3 Multi energy
+ 3-3 Sunflora UF
You know what, I'm gonna scrap the trainers just because I like working from scratch.
4 Rare Candy
4 Low Pressure System

#1 w/o Holon Engine
4 Great Ball/Dual Ball
3 PETM
2 Celio's
3 Copycat/Steven's Advice
2 Switch/warp point
3 Wind storm
---------------
W/ Holon Engine
3 Tranciever
2 Mentor
2 Adventurer
1 Scientist
1 Farmer
2 Wind Storm
3 PETM
2 Celio's.

Your new list should look something like this:

Pokemon: 22
3-2-3 Meganium ex
3-2-3 POP4 Sceptile
3-3 Sunflora

Energy: 14
10 Grass
3 Multi
1 Cyclone/Warp

Trainers: 24
4 Rare Candy
4 LPS
3 PETM
2 Celio's
3 Windstorm
----------
4 Great Ball/Dual Ball
3 Copycat/Steven's
1 Switch/Warp Point

OR

3 Tranciever
2 Mentor
2 Adventurer
1 Farmer/Scientist

I hope this was a helpful fix for you!

Also, if you want some Energy Root, feel free to take out a few things for it. Sunflora+Root+LPS= 100 hp Stage one:gasp:

Since it's quite slow so I thought of adding Mawile CG as starter to speed things up. I guess Magcargo DX is not that helpful too.
Hi rayquaza57, nice to meet you..
Well, moza, the Sunflora UF/ Meganium ex idea was good and I know this deck can be fast with that Sunflora UF/ Meganium ex idea. But, i don't really like to use Sunflora UF as an attacker because of the low HP.
The solution is LPS/ER but Windstorm blows it away. The idea is really good. I will consider it.
Thanks for your help~!
The Phenom1993, thanks for your advise.

Updated list so far.

Anymore advise or suggestions?

I just needed to take out Venusaur to find space for meganium, but I do think Venusaur is better though. Mabey just Meganium with Sceptile? Kina like Dragtrode...

Yea, Meg ex version is just like dragtrode version if you play it with Holon Lass and Power Tree. Sunflora Uf is a must.

Meganium ex/Sunflora UF/Sceptile POP 4( just made a few changes from moza's list)

Pokemon-23
3/2/3 Meganium ex
3/1/2/1 Sceptile POP 4/Sceptile EM
3/3 Sunflora UF
2 Holon Trode

Trainers-24
4 Candy
3 PETM
1 Celio's
2 Windstorm
2 LPS
2 Power Tree
4 Transceiver
2 Mentor
2 Adventurer
1 Lass
1 Scientist

Energies-12
12 Grass

1more space, it's either Grovyle or Scott. No space for Mawile CG though.

Instead of Venusaur or Sunflora why not use Crawdunt EX ? With 20 damage per extra energy (that's any energy)it seems like the best energy based attacker in the game. I have tryed it with megainum EX without much luck (mostly because I don't think far enuf ahead) but now I am exited to try putting this Septile(r/s,pop4) in to the mix.

Here is what I would do:

Pokemon- 21
4-bulbasaur (growth)
2-Ivysaur (stretch vine)
4-Venusaur CG
2-Treeko ? (they're all pretty useless)
1-Grovyle ?
2-Sceptile POP4
2-Skitty
2-Delcatty EX
1-Roselia
1-Celebi*

Trainers- 22
3- copycat (I would go with TVR- I like straight draw better)
2-Windstorm
3-PETM
2-switch (Isn't venusaur a fatty?)
2-Holon Tranceiver
2-Holon Mentor
1-Holon Scientist
3-Low Pressure System
4-Rare Candy

Energy- 17
2-React
4-Boost
4-Holon GL
7-Grass

It may seem random, and I haven't tried it yet, but I plan on doing it to see how/if this setup works.

_REASONS FOR POKEMON CHANGE_

Delcatty EX:
1. keep the opponent from loading his/her hand (really doesn't help much, but good against a castform drawer)
2. retrieve energies.
3. late game beatstick.

Celebi*:
1. Pick off to finish.
2. You can load a bunch of energy onto him and deal good damage. If he get's KO'd, you may get the Power he has to work (shuffle him in, not counted as a KO). either way, I understand the energies get discarded... that's why delcatty is in there. I expect this to only really work late game, but it can change the game if you can get their attacker knocked out.

-Up the Venusaur line for consistancy and swarm.
-Sceptile lowered, because you really only need one. (don't think you need the ex, because I don't think it would effect the game much.)
-Magcargo dropped- too risky and too inconsistant.

_REASONS FOR TRAINER CHANGE_

-BF would be nice, maybe you could still play it, but it would shut down Catty EX.
-Not much draw... this could be scary... can't think of any other way to fix it, though.
-PETM because you already have mentor for basics.
-Smaller Holon engine. I think even though it is smaller, it is consistant enough.

_REASONS FOR ENERGY CHANGE_

-boost are essencial for quick hitting. (also recycleable with delcatty EX) Either gets you a quick 20+toxic, an additional 30 damage with green blast, or to use sceppy (if you desperately need to, and if you are really lucky with flips)
-Reacts to heal with Roselia (doubtful you can make it worth the while to set up), or to grab an additional energy if you are stuck with a skitty start.
-GL maxed to help against effects. (thought that one Scepy from Emerald would be nice, but can't find room for him either... wouldn't that stop Flareados almost alltogether?)

That's my explanation... I like the deck Idea. Venusaur is the king.
