Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Video Game Suggestion Thread

Rating: e System: , DS, 5/5 it is POKEMON BACK! LOVELY grefes you must paly it
You mean play? Not "paly"? XD

I have already played that game and I'm almost done with defeating the E4.

I played Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and it's awesome. I also got Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II for DS (didn't know they had it out for that system ).

If I were to get Lego: Pirates of The Caribbean, is it better on DS or Wii?

I highly recomend you splurging for a PS2 (used or whatnot) and getting KH1, 2 coded and any other you can possibly get even 385/2.

Kingdom Hearts is the single most greatest game (to me at least) ever made for the ps2 ever.
In fact I think I am going to go re-play it now.

Y'know, barring the wonky camera and the fact that Sora drives like a truck. It's a game that succeeds in spite of some very obvious flaws. I'll admit that there were certain sequences in KH1 where I had no idea what was going on, like the Heartless swarm inside of Monstro. But they're all fun games.

Disgaea DS is an often overlooked game that's amazingly complex. :) (Rated T, DS, ~19.99, I give 4.9/5)
It's a strategy RPG, but the feel of it's completely different from most games. The characters are awesome, the gameplay is good, and WOW content. The main storyline can be beaten on about Lv. 70, but the level cap is 9999. That's right, nine THOUSAND nine hundred and ninety nine. The final optional boss iirc is on 6000, and he's really, really hard even if you're at 9999. There are 8 different endings, two different play modes, and penguins, dood!

To give you an idea of how it runs, I'm at 140 hours on my game right now. I've gotten 4 endings, and my highest character is on 1250. And I am absolutely not bored! :D

Also: Radiant Historia (DS, E10+, 4/5)
It's a fairly new DS game, and the idea behind it is rather strange. You skip between timelines, filling in holes, gaining skills, all to advance the story on two different fronts. It's interesting, because for an RPG it focuses very little on battling. The plotline (s) are the main focus, which is nice.

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time is AMAZING!!!
Best game ever!!!
Rating E
System N64
My Rating 100 out of 5
Price Used $5 and up New $100 and up

Havent finished the game but I absolutely love it.

The World Ends With You is THE BEST DS game ever... IMO. It is created by Square Enix (who made final fantasy) and it is just amazing. I cannot start to describe it without spoilers. If I were to describe the gameplay... I just cannot do it. Go look it up on youtube. It has a great story behind it (even if it gets confusing after a while), and its gameplay is totally unique and simply amazing. You should check this one out. It is rare, so buy online. I got my copy a year ago for $25. 10/10

All that needs to be said. Get it. Now. Enjoy it.

EDIT: Wait, it's rare now? I sold my copy like a month ago. *facepalm*

The fact that each story is beutifally told (KH1 and KH2 to be excact) The cinematics were flawless and the battle system and the monsters that you battled were made with such creativity? Yeah what a terrible game. I bet you actually liked Battle Toads because what other game could incorperate disney characters and cooralate with all ages. Just because you couldn't handle the inverted camera angle that was supposed to add to the dramatic effect, or comprehend the story when you were 10 doesn't mean you should troll it and ruin it for everyone else.

Dont listen to anyone else the Kingdom Hearts series is one for the history books and should be the first game to play for new players and nostalgic players.

And also Radiata Knights for PS2 was a excellent game. Sorry but I played alot of Ps2 Games in my time and thats most of what I know, and I also agree that Orcarina of TIme was excellent as well.

I'm saying that KH1 succeeds despite of (or maybe because of) its flaws. But don't go into the game expecting something flawless. It does have some issues, mostly related to the camera at times spazzing out and not giving me a good look at the fight I'm trying to engage and Sora's platforming not being as tight as I would like. It's one of the best games of the PS2 era, better than the sequel that fixes said issues, and a must play experience. Just don't expect perfection.

Ok it just seemed like you were trolling it for a second. Like with sarcasm saying its a good game with all its flaws.

I want to expand this a bit and put in that I'm also wanting Online games. I was thinking of getting a Membership for Star Wars Adventure. Is the money something you buy, or you can earn with membership? I don't want to wast any money on something I won't play.

yes yes yes someone else who plays it but you have some points wrong:nonono::nonono:

anyway raident historia is kinda ocnfuseing at first but once you play abit you understand it better
the battle system is inovateive and very rewarding to master the traveling back and forth thru 2 different time lines is fun (and confuseing at first) and if you get stuck in battles switch back in the same or a diff time line and train you play thru one time line till it basicaly "stops" as you need a item or skill thta you dont currently have that can be obtained by either going backward in your current time line and changeing things or by switching time lines its alota fun once you understand it

but be warned sometimes this game is VERY HARD and takes some thinking :thumb:

I've heard of the Star Wars online game. With most of the online games younger kids play, the currency isn't free but you can play a simpler version for free (like Club Penguin). Now if you were play something like Rift of World of Warcraft you are paying to play the game. You might find a Trial Version to see if you like it or not.

So wait..
Whats the story line in KH?
I look interesting and I might get it
PS
Going from force unleashed 1, I hope the storyline in #2 is longer.
I can literaly finish that game in about 4-5 hrs.

Talking about the storyline in KH in any part is akin to giving away spoilers. Basically, take classic Final Fantasy characters, combine with classic Disney characters and worlds, and splash in a few new characters and worlds, and you've got a KH game.

Don't forget the orignality of the story, not the characters its not just a game with disney and FF characters it has its own story as well just with a disney take on it.

I pretty much only play M-rated games and only on the X360, so I don't really have anything to suggest on those consoles.

However, if you enjoy computer games, Portal is an awesome PC game. I've also played Pirates of the Caribbean Online and I play Lord of the Rings Online. Pirates and Portal are E10, and LoTRo is T.

I do play POTC Online. I'm might not look into LOTR Online, I might look into Portals though.

I'm pretty much the same as barkjon, cept I play on ps3.

I also second portal (and portal 2).
They're both really short (Portal took me 4 hours to beat the first time, I've replayed it like 3 or 4 times though, portal 2 took 8 hours single player and 5 hours coop.
Portal 1 is fine without subtitles, but you NEED to play the second with subtitles on. You just don't want to miss any diologue. You can buy both on steam for $55 dollars, or you can buy portal 1 in the orangebox pack for $20. (That's what I did, but the orange box has 5 other m games, so it's not really a good deal for you)
It's a puzzle game, with really witty writing. The puzzles wern't that hard (For me anyways) but the dialogue shoud reel you in. The first portal could be scary for younger children. (Unfortunetly if I explaned why, it would ruin the little plot in the first portal.
