Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Vilegar vs lost gar

Hey everyone I am in desperate need of your help. I have stuff to run both vilegar and lost gar...many people have told me to run lostgar and vile gar. I'm not sure which, one, to run...... And if you could please tell me which is better and why. If you can give me a list that would be great. Thanks

I'd play LuxChomp over both but between VileGar and LostGar i'd go w/ LostGar if you can get a really good list but VileGar is prolly a better play overall.

Use your Gengar Primes to trade for whatever deck you want to make. Vilegar is probably only good for 6 months before it will probably get rotated out.

Gengar Prime is worth $40. I doubt they will go any higher. And sooner or later people are going to get over the hype and it will be back to $18. Sell High!

Why not mix them together?

I seriously doubt there going to go down unless something extreme is done it dominated Japan's meta for a while.

lost gar is pretty new and mayby a good idea to play over luxchomp. becasue no one has realy thought of a counter for it.
but in my area since i am the only one (in my division) that playes luxchomp and since i dont relay go to league no one realy nows me.

any way back to topic lost gar if u plan on using it i would go 3-1 gengar (3 gengar prime and 1 gengar lv.x) i thought its a good idea while combining gengar prime pokebody gangar primes cures drop and gengar lv.x compund paine.

and for the price of gengar prime it may go uo dpending on the popularity of the deck, kinda like luxray gl lv.x

To further illustrate the over hype...today at league someone brought in a lost world stadium (Target in Derby, KS is already selling LC) and another kid traded 7 legend halves for the ONE stadium.

I can't wait till someone plays Lostgar with me...plays their Lost World Stadium and then on my turn I play another stadium. eh eh eh

That would work out just fine...except the strategy is to just wait until you can declare yourself the winner to play the stadium.

It doesn't work that way unless the stadium is already out there. Once they've hurled the 6th pokemon into the lost zone, they have to wait until their next turn before they declare themselves the winner.

from the pokepop:
You can't use it once you have entered the attack step of your turn.
You must wait until your next turn.

Here's the link to the question.

Right, that was just to say they can't declare after their attack.

There is no reason they can't start their next turn, drop the stadium, and declare themselves the winner at that point.
Why leave the stadium sitting out there as a target for one turn?

Ive seen some SP decks use Weavile G as the counter..
And Honchkrow SV is probably the most popular.
Also, Junk Arms and Regice can even do it. (discard Pokemon)
Then there are Handrefreshers (PONT, Cynthias, Judge etc)
There are pretty easy ways to get around Lostgar.

Id go with Vilegar, but Keep Gengar Primes just incase Lostgars get good.

1. LostGar is the biggest meta play right now.
2. Everyone is playing Dialga G Lv.X to counter LostGar.
3. Dialga G Lv.X hurts VileGar even more than LostGar.
4. Play LostGar.

I'm running an SP mashup with Absol G Lv.X, but if it's between those two, I'd go with LostGar.

Ohhh......bummer.....that IS going to suck.

You really never knew that why would you ever play it before and risk it being discarded . As for the deck I really want to see the results for the first states to truly see how consistent this is in the current meta.

I thought that before I saw pokepop's reply to that one guy's question, and then I guess I read into it too much.
