I'm guessing it never came up in the Japanese way of playing. From stories I hear about how they play and about judges from Japan, they seem a lot more loose on the rules than we are.

Why don't you do this with Bebe's Search when you look through your deck? After going through the deck, on your opponent's turn, write down cards that you saw so that you know some of them are in the deck. Perhaps you'd do this upon seeing the Azelf is prized.

The issue here is: can you make notes about private knowledge? When does the note cross the line between a bluff and an intent to deceive? Say, for Glaceon and Leafeon, there are two different versions. Does your note have to say which one is in the prizes? If not, do you have to answer which one it is if asked, or can you "forget"? Bluffing is allowed, is this "forgetting" a bluff?

Now we're talking about intent. Take BeBe's Search: the intent is for you to search the deck to find a Pokemon, not to scan your deck to see what cards are there and make a note of them. So, why treat the prizes differently?
 
well for one thing I don't know anyone who writes down what is in his prizes because all the people I play with and surround myself with know their deck lists and after one search know what is prized and what i snot, so therefore they know what is in there deck. never heard of anyone writing down what was in there deck lol. I mean it your deck so why would some1 write down what is in it
 
I realize this is a bit sad, but does anyone have a Jirachi from LA they could bring to the BR Saturday for me to borrow? I won't be there to borrow/trade for one Friday so any help would be appreciated, thanks.
 
Arron, Leah and I will be at RC this Saturday. There is a chance Arron might play a 5th deck this season, meaning he would have played a different deck at each Battle Roads. I have no idea what I am playing yet. If Tim would pm me, I might play Exploud,:thumb::lol::thumb: but he is ignoring me. :frown:(Nah, not really, I have too many other things I want to try out)

So David, how is the forecast looking, is there a possibility of a draft blowing through RC during the top cut or right after the cut?:smile:

Well, Johnny and Josh are here right now, trying to convince me to do a private 3 pack $10.00 draft, but I'm inclined to wait for Saturday---but maybe if you guys drive down right now..........
 
Haven't read the string - so I don't know if there is a waiting list or not - I just had to cancel for Richmond Comix for myself and my daughter for Sat, Oct 11 :-(

We had to make a sudden trip to TN. My father is terminally ill.

Given that the day will be a long one, plan on a 20 min break after the 40 min round. My advice personally will be to go to Kroger and get some prepared food or some chips. (Or better yet, if you are local, eat a lunch before 11 just like Chesterfield County Public Schools do everyday!) There wll NOT be time to go to Topps and get Chinese.
