Wager question

Hi there,
A quick Team Galactic's Wager question : if that is the only card you have in your hand when you play it, do you actually have to shuffle your deck regardless, or you just play it and do the RPS thing without touching your deck ?

Any time an effect says "shuffle your hand into your deck", you have to shuffle your deck even if you are putting zero cards into it.
