Wait.. people STILL watch Survivior ????

So, I'm watching NFL (Colts vs. Texans) and a commericial for the NEW season of Survivor comes on....

People STILL watch that show? There's nothing wrong with it. It's just one of those shows, to me, where you've seen one - you've seen them all. Know what I mean?

I of course don't watch any of them personally, but apparently the consensus is that there still is a audience of people for them to continue making them

If it ain't broke don't fix it? The lemming-like general television viewing public finds something it likes, and it keeps watching it. If it's a good idea like American Idol, it never gets old. Or at least, it doesn't get old for a long time.

That can be said about everything like football the game has remain more or less unchanged. Pokemon as well, how many reprints or pokepowers/bodies/attacks sound just like another card? Poltergeist has been printed how many times? Vileplume with a trainer lock body.... thats what the 3rd 4th one now? haha

But yea, I've watched Survivor for the last 6 seasons straight. Of the 6 only one of them was kind of boring or run of the mill. All the other ones were really very interesting, watching it for the strategy. People are figuring out the game of Survivor looking for the perfect strategy, just like we are every time a new set drops.

I watch every season of Idol and America's Best Dance Crew. I'm a sucker for the music competition shows.
