Wal-Mart Employee KILLED due to Black Friday Crazyness!!!

In a Walmart in New York, a Wal-mart employee was killed Friday Morning! Some of the people who had been waiting there since 10pm actually Broke down the door to get in that morning. and the poor guy got trampled to death! Another 5 people were injured...aboslutly rediculous! What is a matter with some people? Is saving a little money really that important?

Thank god I didn't go to Black Friday this year, I was afraid the little old ladies would bring the walkers with the spikes on the bottom. @_@

I would just refuse to work on Black Friday if I was in retail.

My life isn't worth losing over a bunch of greedy, penny-pinching pigs who have no respect for anybody else, they just want to get everything they want, no matter the cost to anybody else.


I'm not saying everybody that shops on Black Friday is, but those people clearly are.
 
Even though I refuse to shop at Wal-Mart. This is just one reason why I think these so called "Door Busters" should not be allowed. Not everyone can go urban camping in front of these stores to get 1 of only 10 per store. I think that all black friday sales should be available both online and in-store. And not just one or the other. I just hope we don't have a repeat of this tragedy next year.
 
Ummmmmm can someone explain what Black Friday is???? I'm from the UK and we don't have it... and to be honest after reading this, I'm PRETTY GLAD we don't.

Pretty much, and the name comes from the color you record profits in... black ink as opposed to expenses which are red.

When I first read an article I couldn't believe it. The story sounded like something straight out of a cartoon, and it is just horrible.

Hopefully justice will be served.
 
I remember several guys were trampled during an Xbox 360 promotion a couple years ago. Probably on the same weekend.

Corporate geniuses need to either completely drop Black Friday, or make sure that they have SWAT teams on site to ensure orderliness...
 
It just goes to show how pathetic our socirty has become. Materialistic greed has cast an enormous shadow over morals and human life. Makes me sick. I dont know how many times I have been shopping during the hoidays and people break out in fistfights to get the latest in electronics or toys or whatever is the "status Symbol "that year. I only pray that the security footage helps to bring those responsible for the untimely death of that employee to justice.
 
This makes me glad I work as overnight stock crew, not as a sales associate......Although they called me in to work during Open Hours yesterday anyway. Thankfully, Five Below isn't a spectacularly large hit-spot on Black Friday. Here's to everyone who had to work the floors yesterday, including the poor guy at Wal-Mart.
 
that is so stupid that people are that eager to get something for 15 % of or what ever is is!!!!! that would be alot of years in jail combined for all those people that trampled him.
 
Well by the sounds of it the name has lived up to itself......Terrible for the family of the guy as to lose someone over such nonsense as this is terrible and I hope the people are happy with their new item that they needed so badly to take another life to get it.:nonono: And hopefully they will be able to take it with them to crowbar hotel as I hope that is what they get,
