Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Want flies with that?

Oh cool, so you bought the propaganda hook line and sinker. ;3 Not that there wasn't some level of truth to Supersize Me but it was badly exaggerated.

No, but watching him barf was what made me stop eating there...that and their food is gross...I really don't eat fast food anymore anyway...the movie was required in my health class...

Believe it or not: their burgers and fries will not rot

I am a substitute teacher here in Nashville Tennessee. I personally have a burger and fries from McDonald that is 8 years old. I keep them in my case and show them to the students. They are amazed by what they see. In fact I play a game with them and ask them to tell me when I bought the burger and fries; then I have a student read to the class the receipt.

Some of these students remember what I showed them a year later when I revisit their school.

Important! When you buy one to see if this is true, let the burger and fries cool in the bag and do not put them in a jar or sandwich bag. If the burger sweats, it will mold. I let mine cool in the bag for about a day or so on top of my refrigerator. I never have put them inside of the "fridge". Once they are cool, you can put them in a smaller brown bag or the original bag. It does not matter. I bought some plastic jars from Wal Mart to keep them in.

Like I said before, it is 8 years old. Try it and see for yourself. I just order the burger and bread with a small order of fries. In fact my wife has one also that she displays.

I think we all know that McDonald's food is extremely bad for you, but I never knew that...thank god I don't eat fast food (maybe some Wendy's on occasion).

Just stay away from the burgers. Get the chicken sandwiches or something. (not the little mushy weird ones, the ones with actual chicken)

For the record, McDonalds fires > all. :p Just don't eat them every day, maybe once a week or so, and you'll be fine.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up.

In the meanwhile I'm looking for a vid of Jamie Oliver showing you what Chicken Nuggets are made of....stay tuned to be grossed out!

EDIT: Can't find the exact clip with Jamie showing some schoolkids what really is in chicken nuggets by using a blender and meatwaste....

EDIT2: Found it! He mentions E numbers in the clip. E numbers are additives aproved and redeemed safe by the European union. Which is far from the truth as stuff like Aspartame, salt-acid and have been deemed healthy enough to be put in a mountain of products like anti-freeze in butter and margarine. >_> The funniest thing I think is that you can find Ve-Tsin in cookies! You know, that stuff they they add to keep you addicted to it!

That was funny when all the kids still wanted to eat it.

I never eat fast food....

Neat!

I swore it off, then I went back to it (thanks to a friend of mine), even after watching Supersise Me. It's not an everyday affair, but I do still enjoy a Double Big Mack combo evey now and then.

But still, that's actually a pretty neat little experiment. I guess it goes to show the lenghts people will go to, to bash Mc D's.

yeah br0, you should totally believe everything the media tells you. From fast food to government propaganda. Media gets payed to lie

I don't know. My fiance and I have been trying to be more health conscious lately, and I think there are plenty of valid arguments against McDonald's, but I'm not really into the war against all things bad for you that's been happening lately.

I definitely think that you should eat a healthy diet, and fast food surely isn't apart of that. I'd also recommend eating a partly-vegeterian diet and eating locally grown food, I just think that it's been taken a little over the top. Of course McDonald's food isn't going to rot, it's loaded with chemicals and preservatives, and of course it's going to make you sick after eating nothing but it for a month, it's not intended to be eaten that way. Nobody goes into a McDonald's with the feeling that they're making a healthy decision in their meal, and I think it's a bit unfair to put on a campaign against this terribly unhealthy(~!) food, as if it was a secret.

McDonalds is bad, sure, but Aspartame is alright. There is nothing conclusive saying otherwise.
