Me and Fabien breifly discussed this sort of deck for his french nationals, from that list he won and built this.

Well done Fabien, you the man.

It depend of your start but, the registeel can help you to discard the magikarp from your hand at the start of the game. like play a roseanne and a luxury ball to take 2 magikarp and a registeel to discard them directly instead of wait one turn to play a Felicity (if you have one in hand....).

Dany.

WOW MAKE YOUR OWN LIST PLEASE!!! I think that is the funnest part of pokemon is deck building perhaps I am the ONLY one...

Registeel > Regice : Draw more with Claydol or Uxie even if you don't want to switch your opponent's active basic Pokémon ! In this deck, you generally wanna kill the opponent's Active Pokémon (except sometimes late game), so generally, and mostly early game, Registeel > Regice. But that can be personal.

The decklist I used will be soon in my report, oh well, I can just write here too... Try it, and do any change if you want ! For instance, I would do -1 Luxury Ball and +1 Warp Point, but I didn't do it because I just DID NOT playtest my list before Worlds, Kiwill made a decklist, I took it, changed it a bit to add SSU the day before Worlds, and used it...

Here's the decklist.

Pokémon : (20)
4 Magikarp SF
4 Gyarados SF
3 Sableye SF
1 Pachirisu GE
1 Baltoy GE
1 Claydol GE
1 Uxie LA
1 Azelf LA
1 Toxicroak G Promo
1 Registeel LA
2 Crobat G

Trainers : ()
4 Roseanne's Research
4 Felicity's Drawing
3 Bebe's Search
2 Buck's Training
1 Cynthia's Feeling

4 Poké-Turn
4 SSU
4 Pokémon Rescue
1 Night Maintenance
1 Switch
2 Luxury Ball

3 Broken Time-Space

Energies : (7)
4 Call Energy
2 Psychic Energy
1 Darkness Energy (basic)

Enjoy !

PS : Dany's Luxray is great (see the World Champion's decklist...), but I didn't want to use it for more safety (4 Call Energy were the play IMO, with Magikarp's 30HP). Nice job for qualifying in the LCQ Dany !

PPS : Report coming soon, when a friend of mine (Anne-Sophie) tells me who I played against, because my memory sucks.

EDIT : I'll explain everything in my report, maybe you find some things weird ! And, just ask. (No Unown G ???? WOW crazy guy ?? Not really ;-))

wasn't there 1-1 blissey pl, houndoom g, and unown G & Q on the list.

Are you the french player we met who didn't wake up in time? :0

Yes he is ! Greenleaf = Dany G

No, there wasn't.

But those cards were in the decklist I used at French Nats. Let's explain why :

1. Houndoom G. Dialga G was played with Toxitank. A good player who managed to KO Gyarados with Deafen + Poison from Skuntank G would prevent us from doing Pokémon Rescue so we couldn't do anything no more. Thanks to Houndoom G, we didn't meet this problem (somebody tried to do the trick by the way, so without Houndoom G we would have lost). But I knew that at Worlds Dialga G + Toxitank wouldn't be the biggest problem.

2. 1-1 Blissey PL. This card is more discard, and it helps against Kingdra because you prevent him from 2HKOing you thatnks to PlsuPower, and so you get an advantage that you don't have without Blissey (without Blissey we used to lose, with Blissey it was 50-50 I think). Kingdra wasn't a problem at Worlds thanks to Luxray.

3. Unown [G]. Gengar was overplayed at Nats, but I knew it wouldn't be the biggest problem at Worlds. Good players wouldn't play this at Worlds (Jason did, actually). It was a bet, and it was a success.

4. Unow, [Q]. It was a must because we didn't play Crobat G. So it gave free retreat to Uxie/Sableye/Houndoom G. Now, with Crobat G, the card was useless.

Fabien congrats to your team for making such a unique deck! And you for being a nice guy and posting your list since most people wouldn't since the deck is still viable in this format. Are you the same guy who faced Silvestro in top 8? I watching from your view getting 3 ssu in 1 turn and that last one from the 8 card cynthia.

And getting only tails...
Glad you folks like the deck, we worked quite a lot on it :)
