Special promotional items: Players will receive a specially stamped Prerelease card and and other premium item, while supplies last.

Tournament Structures:
SEALED: Each player receives 6 booster packs (provided) from which they build a 40 card deck. We then play several rounds of Age Modified Swiss (all players play in every round) Basic energy is provided. All cards, except the energy are yours to keep.
SEALED PRIZES: All Players get 2 additional boosters when they complete the tournament!!!
Door prizes given away at some venue locations

THEME DECK CHALLENGE: Instead of the main Prerelease tournament, you can participate in a theme deck challenge. You will be given a brand new CALL OF LEGENDS theme deck to battle with. Parents can help their younger children, or children can help their parents learn the game. All cards are yours to keep! THEME DECK PRIZES: Everyone wins an additional 4 CALL OF LEGENDS boosters.

SIDE EVENTS: Side events will be announced at each location.

There was once a gathering of students at Western Washington University but I have not seen any mention of them since about a year and a half ago. Supposedly there should be a decent sized gathering in that area.

There is a league in Mount Vernon. I don't attend with any sort of regularity but I could definitely attend prereleases and small tournaments if they could be held there.

But lots of work for one person.

I'll definitely be at the Richland one, I want my Shiny Lugia! >_< even though I've been out of pokemon I'm quite sad I missed the past few PR's, I usually do well too!

Yea I will second that, I got my wife a River Tam figurine from Firefly (Serenity Movie) that I went to OCC hoping to find for a Christmas present. If there is a rare collectable you are trying to locate, OCC is the best place in the state to look for it first.
 
Remember the Phoneix Games Prerelease is on Superbowl Sunday... So lets play some Pokemon and then we can all go watch the big game

Players also receive the promo card and other promo item (while supplies last)

Instead of the main Prerelease tournament, you will participate in a theme deck challenge. You will be given a brand new theme deck to battle with.

Players will play with a new unmodified theme deck for three rounds. Parents can help their younger children, or children can help their parents learn the game. All cards are yours to keep!

THEME DECK PRIZES: Everyone wins an additional 4 boosters after the tournament.

Note: A regular prerelease will not be held at this date.

I love booster drafts, but I dont want to miss the start of the game. So I probably will have to leave after me and Penny are done judging, but if the tournament gets done early maybe we will be able to stay for the booster drat.
