Washington State Autumn Battle Roads 2012

Finally found the EX tins today YEA!! Got annother Raquazza EX so I put the full art back in my collection binder, the art on all three EX's is really cool. Looking forward to playing tomorrow. Too bad we missed a week and can only play on Saturdays this month. Oh well Cities are just around the corner and I will get a ton of pokemon action in then.

Great weekend of Battle roads. The computer issues Saturday in Redmond was a bit unfortunate but thanks to the organizers who got it fixed fairly quickly.

Round 1 Rayquazza/Eels Deck

I start with Victini active. He starts with Rayquazza active and Tynamo, Zekrom on his bench. He goes first attaches and energy attacks and does 40 to Victini. I draw, use Yamask and Pokemon Communication to look for Red Victini, but he is prized so I get another Flip Victini. I attack, but flip head and tail. He attaches and energy, evolves Tynamo and KOs Victini. I place Victini active and place another Yamask on the bench. Attach energy to Victinin and attack, one head and one tail. He attaches and KOs my Victini. I promote Yamask, flip tails on the attack. His turn he KOs Yamask using Rayquazza. 0-1

Round 2 Darkray EX/Hydreigon

In this game, I did not get to use Victini at all. I started with Yamask. He went first and confused Yamask with Sableye, He had Darkray EX on his bench. I attach energy to Yamask and do not attack. He places Deino on the bench and attaches to Darkray EX. He attacks with Sableye for 10. I draw, evolve Yamask into Cofagrigus, place Yamask on the bench and use Lock up for 40 so Sableye can't retreat. He rare candies Dieno into Hydreigon and attaches to Darkray Ex. He forgets to attack. I attach energy to Yamask on my bench and evolve into Cofargigus. I KO Sableye using Cofagrigus. He promos Darkray EX. Draws his card, cant attach energy to Darkay EX and passes. . I attack with Cofagrigus using Lock up for 40. He draws and attaches to Darkray EX and passes. I use pokemon catcher to bring up Hydreigon and use Lock Up for 40. He draws, attaches to Hydreigon and transfers his energies to Hydreigon and KOs Cofagrigus. As I had a Yamask on my bench the turn before, I promote and draw my card. I attach Double colorless energy and evolve into Cofagrigus. I use Chuck for no damage. His next turn he KOs Cofagrigus. 0-2

Round 3 Victini/ Gothetele/Victini

Okay, my opponent had the best start to his game. He started with Victini active and red Victini on his bench, I started with lone Mewtwo EX. He draws attaches to Victini, places Gothita on the bench. He rolls twice but did not get heads. I draw, attach double colorless energy to Mewtwo EX and KO Victini. He promotes Gothita and uses futuresite, I attach to Mewtwo Ex and KO Gothita. He promotes Red Victini and passes. I attach energy to Mewtwo EX and KO red Victini. I got lucky and get the win. 1-2

Round 4 Amoongas/Ninetails

In this game, I started with Victini after mulligan. He KOs a victini using Amoongas and Ninetails. Eventually, I get MewtwoEX out and start KOing his pokemon because he runs out of energy. 2-2

Round 5 Registeel EX/Klingklang

I start first with Victini. He starts with Klink. I attach to Victini and flip two heads and win the game. 3-2

went 3-2 with a fine tuned theme deck....finished `14th.....

The only information I can give you is that Blue Highway Games in Seattle usually fill up fast and takes reservations......Usually Marysville does not require pre registration.......
