Me and Pokemon No Baka and our little one are planning on making the trip down. The only problem is that we are attending a party Saturday night so we will be driving down late and wont get much sleep.
So I already have a built in excuse if I dont do well - :wink: LOL

Oregon was extreamly kind to me last year, I made top 16 in States, and top 8 in both Regionals and Gym Challenge. I hope that I will be able to continue my success down there in 2007.

I want to make sure everyone knows that the Kelso City Championship is on SUNDAY JANUARY 21st. It was posted wrong on the OP website over Christmas break. The correct day is now showing.

All I know is that I didn't go...Too busy up in Seattle with about 65,000 other people watching some football game:nonono: .

Ohh wait, the Seahawks were playing and won:thumb: :clap: .

Same difference (actually, Romo lost the game on his own)...Seahawks still needed to run out the clock, and if Dallas makes the FG, the Seahawks have a minute to take the football down the field and give Josh Brown to kick game-winner number 5 for the season.

Well, a bunch of sports reporters (including Woody Paige, who appears on ESPN's Around the Horn and I think writes for the Denver Post), said that the Seahawks actually slipped a special ball in on that play, because the ball appeared extra "Shiny" and Romo did complain that the ball felt slick. By the way, Romo had been Dallas' holder on FG's and EP's ALL YEAR so this was really nothing new for Romo (also, the spot was at the 2, which is the spot for a normal extra point)

Well, to quell any "Romo/Football-Gate" discusses that might start, I will explain it now. I now give you all a quote from Steve the Producer's blog, from this past week (Tuesday to be exact), when they were addressing this "controversy" on the BJ Shea Morning Experience on 99.9 KISW (The Rock of Seattle)

From Steve's blog on 01/09/06 about the discussion they had about the ball controversy with the help of Seahawks' Kicker Josh Brown(Steve's 243rd day with BJ Shea and crew on the morning show): (I forgot, they also addressed the rumors of Romo and Carrie Underwood on the show)


Today we also talked about the "Ball Controversy"--some analysts are saying the Hawks stole the game from the Cowboys because the ball that was snapped to Romo was slippery...I say to those analysts: SHUT UP! They say the ball was slick & it was brand new & that is the reason why Tony Romo (screwed) up the snap for the game winning field goal. Those people that use that as an excuse should go buy a box of tissues & cry with Romo. Seriously--Romo is a pro--he practices taking snaps, he uses new balls during the games...plus...it's not like Holmgren is the keeper of the footballs...the officials give em' the new balls during the game. We got Seahawk kicker Josh Brown on the phone to settle it & he said that kickers have someone to care for their balls & there is no one to blame in this situation. Speaking of Brown, both him & Romo have been rumored to be "hanging" with country/American Idol star Carrie Underwood. According to Josh, he talked to Carrie on New Years & asked her point blank if she was dating Tony--to which she said "No." Can I just say--JOSH BROWN RULES!!!! Go Seahawks!"
